  1. The getting started tab has been acting up for a while now. The first time I clicked, it let me go through, but hasn't since. It says access denied for you? Follow up question, has anyone been able to download examplify yet? I followed the directions but, I can't login.
  2. I believe they are in the evening. You should be registered by now and able to see the times of your classes.
  3. I applied to the Catonsville hybrid program.
  4. I don’t know what they are waiting for. We already had our first orientation. I feel like they should have said something by now. Some one before mentioned them reaching out after finals for the Spring semester. You might want to check back with them.
  5. Good looking out! Thank you. Are you in the Day program, blended or evening/weekend at Catonsville?
  6. You should have definitely gotten an email about orientation by now. I'd follow up with the director of your program or their assistant. Different programs at different locations seem to be moving at different paces as well. Perhaps also check your spam folder.
  7. Sounds like you might be of the waitlist. ?
  8. Ahh yes, I get ti now. You weren't initially going to get your BSN along with the RN. I heard good things about Frostburg and honestly, you'd probably do better to get the BSN while you're at it. The ATB schools seem to be pretty flexible with classes and wednot. So, I'm happy you decided to go through with it.
  9. Was CCBC your first choice out of curiosity? And CONGRATS on a second acceptance ??
  10. CONGRATS. Either school, you'll have success surely.
  11. In case any one was wondering about CPR certs during this time: "As long as you are taking a course (Recommended from the American Heart Association) that covers the infant through the adult for CPR, choking, and use of the AED you may take the didactic part online but the skills testing portion must, as you stated, be done in person." This was shared with me by the nursing director at the Catonsville campus
  12. Is this something that happens at the start of nursing courses?
  13. I know we have a lot going on between our normal lives, work or kids if you have any, but if you want to get a start looking into the things we'll be tackling first I know that dosage calculations are one of the first things. Check out this video on dosage calculations if you want to just get a feel for it. Once you fall behind it's hard to catch up. So why not get a little inch ahead if you have a free moment.
  14. That's a wise idea. I've gotten mixed reviews on the difficulty of the program. Some one said nursing school is more difficult than PA school, others have said they worked full time with kids and had no issues. It just depends on how quickly you want to get through it and how you handle it.
  15. Most likely. I know the current nursing courses were all moved to online. I saw that the first Essex meeting was and still is TBD, however for Catonsville, the first meeting is in May. This corona virus situation will also effect CPR certs since they don't take online certs according to the email. I'll email SHP to see if there is an exception.
  16. Yay! I’m in that program as well. I’m just ready to start at this point.
  17. At least you’re in the RN program though. That’s half the battle right there and something to be proud of. Was Towson the only school you applied to?
  18. I'm not sure about Towson. I know the ccbc email said that you should be hearing back around April 1. If you dont hear by then to email them by April 10th
  19. It was sent via email but I also received a phone call.
  20. Seems like ATB partner school are getting back to us sooner rather than later. Just got my Stevenson acceptance. Also, could you drop a link to the new ccbc thread you started?
  21. Great! I'm glad they cleared it up for you.
  22. Which school(s) did you apply to?
  23. Can I ask, who on this thread is doing the ATB program?
  24. On a rather unrelated note, this is a super stressful time between waiting to hear back about acceptance, this Corona pandemic and regular life all at once is so much. I hope everyone is fairing well through all this. Peace and blessings to everyone.
