hi topscot! i have a friend whose pd is june 05. her case was completed last apr 14. she is already scheduled for interview on june 13. try calling nvc...good luck!

hi guys! my pd is feb 2006. my docs were received last may 27 by nvc. I called up nvc and found out that my case was already completed last may 30. It only took 3 days for nvc to review my docs. by the way, it's my 3rd time to be case completed. I just hope and pray that there are still visas left for all of us. i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi guys! I called up NVC awhile ago and I was able to speak with a representative...I asked about the status of my case and the lady said that my case was already completed and that I'll just have to wait for my interview schedule. I also asked if there is a visa number assigned for my case and she replied "yes". She advised me to call again on the 3rd week of Aug to see if I'm included in the Sept interview. Guys, I'm not sure if I should believe what she said because for Aug visa bulletin, visa numbers are unavailable. So guys, for all those whose cases are already completed, pls call nvc and let's compare what they say. Thanks and let's just pray and hope for the best! :)

hi fruity! yes, this means that your case was already completed. i also received that kind of email from nvc (last oct 2006 and again last july 18) just wait for the automated response system to be updated, try calling tonight around 8pm. goodluck! :)

hi guys! my case was already completed yesterday - July 18, 2007!! :) It says to wait for 8 weeks for further instructions. NVC received my updated DS230 last July 6, 2007. I hope and pray that there will be visa numbers reserved for us..I'm keeping my fingers crossed...well, all we have to do now is wait, wait and pray hard!...:)

Hi ilona13! Wow your case is really fast! When exactly is your interview date? If your case was forwarded to US embassy manila last July 2...and your going to have your interview next week...It means that it only took 2 wks from the time nvc forwarded your case to manila to your actual interview. For the record, i think your case is the fastest. hope you'll update us soon. thanks and goodluck!

Hi fruity! Actually, I also get the same message "case will be reviewed in 6-8 wks." But if you email the nvc, they usually say that your case will be reviewed in 2-4 wks. My case was completed before the retro in just 7 working days...I hope it will be the same this time. let's just continue to pray for our cases to be completed in the soonest time. God bless!

Hi Leis23! I found out that NVC received my updated DS230 and docs when i called the nvc automated system. My employer mailed the docs to nvc last June 29, 2007. So I guess, it's taking NVC around 4-5 working days to sort out their mails. :)

My petitioner forwarded my updated DS230 last June 29,2007 and I still get the same message from the automated system --"we are awaiting the biographic forms from the petitioner..." My case was also completed last OCT 2006 and NVC also requested for updated DS230 forms. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks a lot!

Hi guys! My agency asked me to submit an updated DS230, NBI clearance and police clearance per NVC instructions. They said that it's a new policy from NVC, eventhough my case was already completed. I'll just update you guys of any developments.

hi fruity! my case has already been completed too last october 2006, but when i checked the status of my case, it says that they are waiting for the return of the biographic forms. the representative from the nvc whom i've spoken to said that they are currently updating their system so if i want to check on the status of my case, i should call again after 10 business days (around june 15). so let's just try to call and email the nvc after june 15 to get an updated information regarding our petition. goodluck to all of us! :)
