Portland just sent theirs out. I got in!

Spoke to an admissions person they said within next two weeks for Portland.

Has anyone heard anything from Portland?

So, If anyone wasn’t aware I heard the ABSN program at Portland started an extra cohort this year. So, maybe they will do the same for the BSN! If that is the case more people could possibly get in.

Last year the for the Portland campus went out I believe about 10 days after the interview dates. I think Portland will be our today, Wednesday, or Friday. They seems like the send them out on those days.

Well I’m sure someone will not accept and you will get in. I hope Portland sends out ours today! Last year it was on a Monday, so I’m expecting it next week.

I got a pcc invitation as well around 5pm.

Let’s hope Portland sends out acceptance letters this next week! Our essays are due today.

Pretty great! I turned in my essays on Monday. Now the 3 week wait of doom starts.

Every campus has essays from what I understand. They are not required, but you won’t get in unless you do them. They are under the supplemental information on CAS from what I remember. Go back on the application website and click around I’m sure you will find them.

I genuinely believe having a medical license such as EMT, CNA, MA, ect. Goes a extremely long way in nursing/med school applications. I spoke to a nurse on the UofP faculty and she told me they place a lot of weight on people that have given direct patient care and have been responsible for patients lives/well being, vs volunteering at a healthcare facility.

Hey there, I think some of already did but, 3.9 GPA all required courses completed. year of working as an EMT 6 years military. spent a lot of time writing my essays and was very personal in them so they could really understand who I was as a person.

Through email, I replied and they sent out the questions. No in person email just some more essays to write!

Based on some of our credentials I believe at least one of us will get a Portland invite. So, I think they just haven’t sent them out LOL.

Yeah the chances of one of us getting in is high so I expect they just haven’t sent them out.
