I am surprised there is not a thread for C27 yet! I am making one in hopes others will chime in! We are going to start soon and it would be nice to get some fellow classmate support! I would also love if anyone has any insight from friends currently or previously in the program on what to expect as we are starting remote...

@ki13 Thank you so much for this info. I know it's a couple of cohorts back and I am about to start 27 in April. I am so curious about the schedule. Can you give me an idea of when clinical are and class time is scheduled? I know I depends on your professor/clinical availability but in general are the clinical days on the weekends and class time during the week? How many days for each class etc? Knowing the schedule changes every month or 2, I am trying to wrap my head around what my life will look like for the next 2 years aka how to juggle everything on my plate. Thanks so much fo any insight you can give!!

I have a question, I took the TEAS 3 times. If I submit my best score (the 3rd) would that suffice? They ask for the 1st score but how would they know if its the 1st, 2nd or 100th? When you submit scores, you choose the score to send correct?

EDIT: just found it! WOW Hi everyone. This may be a silly question but after sending the application, I was confused as to if they required transcripts to be sent at this time. Do they? If so, what is the email to send them electronically?? I assume they want to TEAS sent as well correct? If I could get the email to send, that would be awesome!

@etchensketch thank you so much for offering to share! Would love to know a typical week for you. How often would the schedule change? What was harder, the juggle of the schedule or the academic part of the courses? Thank you again!!! All the insight I can get, the better!!!

@squaresma I'm in Westchester. Look into the ADN to BSN collaboration. That could be a way in too! Good luck!!!

@squaresma I started a program but it was too intense. I went to TCAB at Cedars. The 4 hour commitment was unfortunately too much on top on driving an hour each way. I think I would like to start up in the summer when I’m not preoccupied with school and then ride it out the following semester. Maybe finding a program closer to me on the west side. I agree, being a parent has made the pre-req’s hard but I’m sure it’s nothing like the actual program. I’m so nervous for that. unfortunately I have to take pre-req’s one per semester. I’m crossing my fingers you get it. When should you be hearing back?? I need to be sure to check in on you:) totally need to see/hear how children effect the experience

Hi @squaresma I am a parent too! Projected nursing student in 2021. I would LOVE to know how this goes for you. Please check in every now and then. I’d love to see how it works out schedule wise. I am anxious about that aspect and praying I can actually do this.

@etchensketch could you describe a weekly schedule for the ABSN program? I am currently completing pre-req’s and starting to panic at the thought of the crazy life I’m about to start. What is your week like??
