Hi! I recently got an email about the competitive rating and it said that I was rank 36 for pediatric/PICU clinical nurse 1. Not sure if that's high enough for an interview, but that's where I'm at with SCVMC right now.

Hi everyone! I wanted to create this thread for all the applicants for LBMC/MCWH March 2023 New Grad Residency. I recently applied to Miller Children's for a few different units. All of my applications now say "completed", rather than "under consideration" or "submission received". I was wondering if this means that I am no longer in the running for any of the units? Has anyone heard back for interview opportunities or know what the submission labels mean for the applications?

Great, thank you so much! Are skills labs confirmed to be in-person every Wednesday and Friday? If so, are any of you planning on purchasing a parking permit for those two days a week? I will ask these questions at orientation, but I just wanted to see what your input and plans are!

Just to clarify and confirm, we have our first skills lab on Friday, 08/21, and not on Wednesday, right? I‘ve already read the email and purchased my scrubs, but I just want to make sure I didn’t misread anything!!

Thank you so much, Carolyn! I purchased the pharm text and publication manual on there. I think the whole Lippincott Coursepoint for each text includes all the virtual sim labs they're asking for, so I'm hoping that'll be it for the cost on books/programs this semester. I was able to add all my books into my online cart, but I'm still debating on whether or not I should get the loose-leaf version of each text for $50 a piece. It's about $790 total including the loose-leaf versions!

Hi everyone! Is anybody planning on buying the physical texts that come with the Lippincott Coursepoints? Is it 4 texts from Wolters Kluwer, and then the Pharmacology text? Does anybody know if the pharm text needs an online access code also based on the booklist? Or is it a text we can just rent/buy off another website? I'm sure they'll discuss it at the workshop but I'm just curious just in case for now. Thank you!

are you guys planning on getting your scrubs/stethoscope/shoes now - since labs are stated as online - or just waiting until clinicals roll around/are confirmed?
