  1. It's mostly about time management. I took lots of notes during lecture. Also, I would go on Etsy and search "nursing study template", many of us use the disease/disorder concept maps as study guides. It puts it all on one page. I didn't pay more than $2.50 and it was worth more than any other study aids I bought or tried. I would stress listening during lecture over the other aspects, but that's just me.
  2. No problem, and I really wish you the best. I'm incoming level 3, and they are offering the mentorship program to the incoming students. You can sign up when they offer it if you're interested. They will let you know when.
  3. To be completely honest, our cohort did not have to take this test. Things were too chaotic at the time because of the pandemic unfolding. We didn't have an in-person orientation. The only thing you need to focus on are your math scores, I also recommend taking the Summer nursing math course they offer, it's cheap and you get an extra chance at the math exam. I don't think they ever kicked anyone out over failing the A&P post test. Looking back on my orientation power point, it looks like as long as you took whatever class they asked for, you should be good.
  4. We were notified on March 31 and were given until April 21 to accept or decline. Hope that helps.
  5. I took BIOL 2401 more than ten years ago. It was accepted with no problems when I applied to the college last year. You'd need to speak with advising to find out if your courses would transfer.
  6. I'm in! CONGRATS y'all! ?
  7. Good luck, everybody! I'll be stuck to my inbox... like I have been for the last week or so!
  8. Congrats to all the transition applicants! ??
  9. From looking back at past threads, and what I've been told, the week after Spring break. They announce transition students the week of Spring break, I think, and the next week they send out emails for the ADN program.
  10. I did. I made an appointment to get fingerprinted. I was starting to wonder why I hadn't heard anything.
  11. I haven't. I spoke with Mr. Ballom a few weeks ago about my transcripts but after that I haven't heard anything. I think the next step is to get an e-mail to go get fingerprinted for the background check.
  12. I applied with 44 points also. Good to have others in the same boat!
