@mci yay- CONGRATULATIONS! also, where did you take your statistics class, as I’ll need to re-do this one? Thank you! this was my 3rd time applying… so not sure what happened the last 2 years LOL but glad I got some response.

@mci I finally received an email from NJCU… (attached). It says my application is ineligible for review for developmental psychology and statistics being over 10 years old. The psychology I took the clep course for back in January and statistics I took in 2010, but would’ve retaken it if I was told back when I submitted my application in early February. Hope that at least you received some good news. ?

@mci Nope, no repeated pre-requisite courses. I thought I’d def hear by now especially since my bachelors is from NJCU and my letter of recommendation is from my professor there too. But, hopefully we both get in ?

@mci Nah, still no response. I called around the 7th and was told it would be 2 weeks from then. I said I applied prior to the initial deadline, she said decisions are taking longer due to the new extended deadline. I’m just being very patient. How about you?

My undergrad GPA from NJCU is a 3.3 and my prerequisite a 3.5, HESI score 92. Yes, I check all the time too and no email response either. Last time I called she said oh, wait some more but that was like 2 months ago LOL

My application status shows- submitted. Is anyone else’s application still not showing- under review? I have emailed with the office and have been told it is currently under review with the decision committee and today was told I should have a decision by tonight or tomorrow. But, I am concerned it is not “under review”. ?

Thank you for your kind words @studentc7! I would reach out today because they were very disorganized this time around. I got an email letting me know I was missing an item or 2 and nobody would respond to the email. I called and my official transcripts were needed to be uploaded even though I received confirmation they were received in September.

I got No email, was just checking the website literally 100x a day.

Just saw I was not admitted ? last few weeks application status was “under review”. Last week I got an email that my application was missing an item or 2. I called the number and they were able to locate my official transcripts, even though I had them sent out back in September. All week my status read “application submitted” and this morning I checked the website and still application submitted so I calle the number and Felicia answered and looked me up. She said did you submit everything? I said yes, I spoke to Gregory and he was able to locate my transcripts he confirmed over email everything was received and application is being sent for review. She said OK you should hear back soon. I get home check again and status is “not admitted”. This was my third and last time trying. I hope everyone who is waiting gets some good news though ?

@studentC7 Thank you for your response! When you spoke to the counselor did they manually enter the grades for you while you read it to them?

Hey guys, so I got the email that I was missing the one or two items. I responded letting them know I am unsure what I’m missing and an admissions coordinator responded that my application is missing all prerequisite grades. All day I have been trying to figure out where to add the grades and the few times I called nobody answers. I applied last year and I don’t think they’re aware that the website looks completely different ?

@dmatterp Hey! I received a response letting me Know I’m missing all my prerequisite grades. I go back to my application and don’t see anywhere to do that. Do any of you know how I can do so? Did you hear back too?

Yeah seems like they’re still working on this new extension. When did you get the email response?

Hiiii I received an email today saying my application is completed but for it to be reviewed I need to upload 1 or 2 items. They said to login and check the list of items to see what is missing. Can anyone tell me how to get to the checklist of items? Thanks!

Thanks for your response! I emailed right back the admissions counselor who emailed me and left a few voicemails, hope I hear back soon. If not, I will stop by on Monday. I did see she is working remotely at this time. I’m sure someone can help in person ?

I received an email today from the admissions counselor letting me knows it’s a follow up email in regarding my missing Prerequisite transcripts due 11/1. Wow, they sure know how to stress Someone out because it’s the first time not a follow up and it’s on the new deadline date! Oh man ? I submitted everything in September… why?!?!

Hi! The first time I applied I was trying to take organic biochemistry, as you can do that or Chemistry 1 & 2. I was unable to find the class anywhere so just took general Chemistry 1. I was not accepted and never heard why, there were no details or anything. I applied the second time, but was trying to reach someone to make sure the class was okay, but never heard back from anyone. When I found out I was declined again I made an appointment with someone through Zoom, and they were very helpful and recommended I do an informational session and did say I needed Chemistry 2. I immediate took the class ? they also let me know there were changes in the new requirements such as intro to psychology and sociology. But this worked out great as it was my major.

This is my third time applying, so really hoping to get some good news this time. The first two times I was missing general Chemistry 2, soooo third times a charm! ????

My status page went from “in process” to your application is being processed and your status page will be available in 2 business days back on 2-19. Ugh ??‍♀️ when I finally heard back from someone yesterday they responded... when did you apply?

Hello! I’m going to do the same exact thing. Backup plan LOL. Do you know which Chemistry can be taken online? It’ll be too late to wait for the fall and take it at a community college as the deadline is in October.
