AtomicWoman, thanks for the info you provided on the 75-25 rule. I have not heard of the 150 contact hour requirement if only recertifying with CEs. I'd greatly appreciate your letting me know where I can find the 150-25 rule as I could not find it on the ANCC website where the AGPCNP renewal info was posted or listed. Last related question: Are 1000 practice hours related to one's specialty required to recertify under ANCC's nurse practitioner certification renewal program? Thanks in advance for your kind assistance. Best regards, Reggie Horwitz UpToDate is OK with ANCC for non-pharm hours. Medscape has a lot of free CE hours, and they break the CE certificates down into pharm/non-pharm. I am a member of AANP, and my membership fee is well worth the money, as I do most of my CEs online through the AANP website. That includes my 25 pharm hours. ANCC will accept AANP CEs, both pharm and non-pharm. AMA credits are pretty easy to find (Medscape and other places), but you can't use AMA credits for pharm unless the CE certificate specifically says the number of pharm hours that AANP or ANCC will accept.
