Seattle University DNP 2020 Cohort (RN or APNI)
Anyone for APNI-FNP placed on waitlist without interviewing? Or did you all interview and then land the waitlist? I haven't heard a peep since I submitted the application. I'm obviously taking this one as a loss, which is a bummer but something I knew going into given you all are incredible--the competition is stiff! A bit bummed by the complete lack of communication & transparency given how much we all put into this process, but it is what it is & I'm sure the program is badass nonetheless.

Simmons Direct Entry 2020
Hi everyone! Weird question: Do any of you happen to know the estimated total cost of this program? I can see the cost per credit is 1,410 but I don't know if that includes lab fees or any other extraneous costs. I'm also unsure of how many credits are required of us in total--the number of classes listed in the 'sample' schedule versus the number of classes listed under 'required curriculum' were quite different. Just trying to gauge since I would also be moving cross-country. Thank you much in advance!

Seattle University APNI 2019 Applicant Questions?
Hi everyone! 2020 APNI-DNP, FNP track applicant here. I was just wondering if any of you, old and new applicants alike, have any sort of idea on what their 'fluid' application process looks like? I spoke with an adviser today who was incredibly kind and very empathetic but didn't entirely know the answer. Essentially, I'm wondering: I know interview invites vary by track. However, within each track, are invites sent out in order of priority/competition? Ex: If 25 FNP spots are available, will the 25 most competitive applicants be identified and offered interviews, and then further interviews to other applicants will be offered dependent on how the first round goes? OR Are all applications reviewed and interview invites are simply scheduled to be sent out at different times? Honestly I'm just trying to better gauge my level of competitiveness (or non-competitiveness) for this program, because while Seattle U is my top pick, other universities do pressure for enrollment w/deposits so I feel conflicted and limited in how long I can hold out to see if I'll get an interview. Thank you very much in advance. I know many of us are in the same boat, so to everyone feeling the same way--hang in there!

Seattle University DNP 2020 Cohort (RN or APNI)
Hi everyone, Congrats to all who have heard back for interviews! Anyone aside from @Dylan Miller apply for FNP and waiting to hear and/or have scheduled an interview? I submitted my app for FNP in mid-November and haven't heard back. Rational me knows they've already said invites continue through February, but I'm getting really nervous since Seattle has definitely been my top choice. Anyways, trying to be a patient and stay hopeful. Good luck everyone! You got this.
