  1. Hi everyone, I am applying to nursing school for an accelerated MSN program and besides the standard transcripts and recommendations, they are requesting a resume. Anyone have to send in a resume with their application? What are they looking for? Pam
  2. I am applying to an accelerated BSN program and need some advice. I am a single homeowner and would be quitting my full-time job to go back to school full-time. Is it better to get a HELOC or go through financial aid at the school to cover living expenses (mortgage and other bills) while I am unemployed for 14 months. I'm curious what other prospective students are doing who are in my situation. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I am ready to apply to several accelerated nursing programs in Maryland which are from 13.5 months to 18 months in length. What is the best way for me to pay for living expenses (mortgage, etc.) while I'm going to school full-time. Will a school loan cover that amount (about $50,000) or do I take out a HELOC? I am a single person so I don't have another income to rely on.
