Hey y'all, I was wondering if you could give me some insight on what the ADN class/clinical schedule looks like? I know it probably won't be exactly the same from year to year, but any kind of information on what to expect would be greatly appreciated. I have a 4 year old and am trying to figure out what my schedule will be like so I know approximately how much help I'll need with him while in class and clinical. Thanks in advance! Baylee

Yes, an acceptance letter! It's time stamped 3:30. I'm sure if you haven't received anything yet it's just because they haven't got to your name yet. I noticed on some of the past threads, some people received theirs almost a week earlier than others did.

The anticipation is killing me. And, I'm still worried that we haven't received a BON email yet, since that was reiterated a few times in the info session. She didn't say they didn't have the roster yet, just that they might not have it yet. I'm probably overthinking it though ? I have no idea if they email if you were rejected as well. I would hope they would, but who knows!

------------------ responded. She didn't tell me whether or not they have my application, but I'm sure they're swamped right now. She said they are working on the traditional student files and will be sending emails out soon. She said as far as the BON goes, they may not have the roster yet. Hopefully that's the reason we haven't received anything from them yet! ?

I will definitely let you know if/when I hear back from her. I double, triple and quadruple checked my application packet as well, but there's still that ounce of doubt - that maybe I missed something. I check my email so often that it's hard to even be productive because I'm constantly thinking about it and checking it, so I totally feel ya! They said they were aiming to send admission decisions out by March 7th, right? I didn't record it, but I took lots of notes.

@MB85 I'm glad I'm not the only one that hasn't received the email! I emailed --------------------- ?. I hate to bother them and definitely don't want to irritate them, but I just couldn't handle the suspicion LOL. I mailed my application with a tracking number and show it was received, but since it's taking so long to get the email from the BON I've wondered if maybe my application didn't make it into the right hands, or if I left something out of my application that makes me disqualified. Ugh!! So curious and anxious to hear something! I check my emails a million times a day.

@atomicblonde, have you received an email from the BON yet? I still haven't. I'm starting to get concerned and wondering if maybe there is something wrong with my application. I think might email ----------------- to double check.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one waiting as well! I have been going through my head trying to remember everything I turned in as well, LOL! I actually was thinking about reaching out to ----------------------- to see if they have my application, but I don't want to jump the gun and bombard them when I'm sure they're very busy. If I don't hear something soon, though, I may reach out just to double check. I will definitely let you know when I hear something. I'm hoping we hear something very soon! I am checking all my email addresses like every 5 seconds ? Did you apply to any other nursing programs? I applied to TWU and El Centro/Northlake.

I am on pins and needles and was wondering if anyone had received the BON email yet since they had told us we'd receive that before admission decisions. Given that they are aiming to have admission decisions out by March 7th, I would have thought maybe we would have received the BON email by now. Makes me nervous that maybe they did already send them out and my application didn't qualify, although I think it would. TEAS: 84.7 Reading: 85.1, Math: 100, Science: 72.3, English: 83.3 (can't remember if they factor the English in or not).

Hey guys! I just wanted to start a thread for any Fall 2020 ADN applicants. I didn't see any that had been started yet. Has anyone received an email from the BON yet? I know in the information session she mentioned that we would receive that email before we received the admission decision, but I have not received one yet. I applied to Commerce for Fall 2019! But I have one C in the prerequisites and they wouldn't take that. Keep me updated on your journey! I've applied to TWU (I meet the requirements, but after reading everyone's admission scores it seems I'm not very competitive) and am applying to Navarro and Tarrant County.

@shauntil07 I hope this is the right way to reply. I am new to the allnurses platform, so I'm not 100% sure how to work it ? Let's just say, I'm not very tech savvy. I'm glad to hear 40 will be competitive! I have no clue what the average applicant score is ?‍♀️ But I'm glad your and my score is considered competitive!! So, in regards to the titers, I had just assumed, since I had already received all the required immunizations when I was younger that I would have positive titers. So, when I got my test results and saw I was low in MMR and Varicella, it was too late to have enough time to get the two required doses by the application deadline. But, according to the dean, a low titer and one dose will be sufficient, thank goodness! BUT on CastleBranch, it still shows as rejected since it technically doesn't meet the requirements El Centro gave Castlebranch. So that's a little nerve wracking, even though I have an email from the dean saying it would be ok.

Hey y’all! Just found this thread while I was googling the average points of nursing applicants for El Centro. I wish they had something that gave an idea of what a competitive score would be! I’m a Fall 2020 applicant to El Centro (Northlake and El Centro campus). I have 40 points and am hoping that’s enough to get me accepted! I had some trouble with the immunization/titers. Just FYI, the dean said if you’ve already had the immunization but have a low titer, they will accept the low titer and one dose of the immunization that the titer was low in. That helped me out since I wasn’t expecting a low titer and didn’t have enough time before the application deadline to receive the two doses. Good luck to you all!!
