  1. Hey Priscilla! I felt the same way before starting in August. I started to wonder if I could actually do this! But I did fine. It's a lot of work, if you manage your time you will be okay. Since you're an LPN it may even be a bit easier for you, but I'm not sure. Good luck!
  2. I got an email to go in last week. I think they're doing it in three groups of 50, I was in the first. I went in Wednesday, got my books and tried on/ordered scrubs, and a form for Quest which I did Friday for the toxicology. This was CCC, not sure how other school are doing it.
  3. Thanks! You too, LOL
  4. Do you mean for me? I got in to CCC in April. I was on the edge of my seat for you!!
  5. Yay!! I've been on the edge of my seat! CONGRATS.
  6. ? As it's June, I am certain you will get called then!
  7. I'm glad they're keeping everyone safe too. And also the clinical sites, they don't need more than they can handle right now, never mind liability issues. The letter for the amended schedule said everything was tentative, as it's a proposed one. They don't know class scheduling at all yet, and said clinicals may not be for the first part of the semester, "We anticipate that our clinical partners may not be ready to allow students back into their facilities during at least the beginning of the Fall semester.". So they may add them mid semester, or not at all. These are some of the specifics I hope to learn of at orientation.
  8. I just looked at that email again. So I did get the orientation info, I forgot. But the email says they're unsure about many things. I hope we will get some more specifics at orientation.
  9. Yeah, but they still said they weren't sure. We still don't know 100% about clinicals either. Or what our schedule will be. I didn't get an email about orientation, though I heard it's online on the 29th?
  10. We have not had orientation yet, and a lot is still up in the air. I'm wondering if people will choose to drop their CCC admission if we end up not doing clinicals, or if we do if they are nervous about Covid-19. IDK, but I'm surprised they've only called one person so far.
  11. Congratulations!
  12. I doubt you would get a new number. The numbers are tabulated with the application info so I would think the A&P 2 wouldn't count until next application period.
  13. Oh, OK, great. I will find some books or ebooks this week.
  14. Good advice, thanks! Any suggestions where to study? They mention it in our packet, but they don't say where to study independently.
  15. I'm taking psych 101 starting next week, and then I'm done with all my coreqs! I got in to CCC, supposedly we start in August, but who knows now! Everything is up in the air.
  16. Yeah, I responded to them too, that was completely uncalled for. They must have a good reason for random selection, but if I had your stats I'd be upset also. You're allowed to have feelings, and you weren't hating imo. Fingers crossed you get in, and if not, next year. But I'd definitely talk to an advisor. I think other people got in not random with very similar stats. IDK if you have all your coreqs, but maybe take them and get all A's to boost your nursing GPA. Best of luck!
  17. I was surprised in April you didn't get in as your stats were great. I wonder if their calculations were different. I really hope you get in! If not, I would ask an advisor when they're open again.
  18. Accepted! I hope all of the waitlisted are also accepted, I think you will be!
  19. I just got that too! I'm sure they'll amend the by end of Spring requirement if we can't do it online, I'm just concerned we get all the knowledge we need for our nursing programs. And will they even start as normal? Weird times.
  20. Yes, I actually stopped by the office and asked today, that's what they said. That it should not be a problem as faculty will still be in. As long as it doesn't get worse I suppose.
  21. I hope the coronavirus cancellations won't affect our notification dates! Anyone know about that?
  22. Yep, mine too! I stopped by the advisory office to check if the nursing GPA I'd calculated matched theirs, but they are unable to do that. So back to the wait! Nice to have everything say "met".
  23. Yes, I'm in SOC 101. How about you?
