  1. Makes sense, Thanks!!
  2. Thank so much!! I am halfway filling out the transfer application but don't seem to see a nursing option anywhere on the app though. Is this fine? I definitely email them!
  3. Hi everyone! Will you please help me find the application due November 15th on their website? I've been so lost on their website for so long and have trouble getting in contact with admissions. Thank you!
  4. When do you guys recommend taking the TEAS and submitting the app by? I just started the app process today!
  5. I think they'll definitely notice if you've taken rigorous courses, such as science courses, and if any of the prereqs were taken in the pervious college; however, I don't think any of the grades will be calculated into your GPA.
  6. It's due tomorrow night. This is what was said in an email sent Saturday- "10/15 @ 11:59 PM EST; DEADLINE DAY!!"
  7. same here ?? when I got that confirmation email I was so scared
  8. From this now Ik my actual app isn't submitted yet, you should check yours!
  9. OMG I did the sameee I submitted the need based financial aid app but its weird bc I haven't uploaded my resume yet or checked the button for completing the video essay so surely it actually didn't submit the application?
  10. @UnionA we have 2 mins and 30 secs I believe Does anyone know if its too late to apply to get an application fee waiver ? I applied a few days ago and havent heard back
  11. @Louie Vuitton Click the recommender that you want to replace, then you'll see an exclude button- click that and you should be able to add a new recommender!
  12. @KAS212 thanks for clarifying. I read that here- https://nursing.nyu.edu/admissions/financial-aid
  13. I'm applying to nyu's accelerated program and on their website it says: 15-Month Accelerated Program Applicants: You must file the FAFSA as an undergraduate student. Would that conflict with how we would apply for columbia's program?
  14. @queen3lizabeth thank you!!
  15. @queen3lizabeth Hey! Can you send the info session link / zoom info once you are notified? I tried to RSVP for it RN but I think it's too late. thanks
  16. Hi! I have a question about taking ap2 on portage learning. Do I have to show proof or something that I've taken ap1 (at my college) in order to take ap2 on portage learning?
  17. @Aw1992 Thankss!! good luck with orgo ??
  18. Thanks for letting me know! I was planning on taking microbio on portage learning and starting it this week, and have it completed in about 3 months. I'm also going to take AP1 and nutrition in the fall. This way the only pending prereq I will have is AP2 that I will have to take in the Spring. Then, I can graduate! I hope this will be enough for an acceptance. I also have 5+ other science courses that I've taken with above a B, so I hope that helps as well.. What do you think? Thanks!
  19. @cnmhopeful95 LOL WOW! thanks for helping me see a different perspective and yes I am so grateful about the money I saved?
  20. @queen3lizabeth WOW! I'm so happy that you've found nursing! You seem to be very passionate. We need nurses now more than ever and its awesome to see your dedication!
  21. Basically my high school was an early college
  22. @queen3lizabeth @Gmilitar @KAS212 Thanks for the support! I took/transferred 60 college credits from my high school and transferred them all, and yes I was supposed to be considered a freshman but because of the credits I was technically a junior from fall 2019. I'm planning on submitting my application mid-September so I will still be 19 but I will be 20 by the time the program starts next year! I have always been passionate about nursing and I hope it comes across in my essays!
  23. I'm kind of worried about my age playing a factor in my application. I'm currently 19, and I am going to graduate next Spring since I've had college credits transferred from my high school. I graduated high school in 2019 LOL. I hope they don't think I'm not mature enough or anything. I mean I will graduate with my bachelors degree next Spring and will have all the prereqs done and I think my application will stand out since I am all about public health and have a lot of experience. My GPA is currently 3.9 and I'm excited to finish the rest of my science prereqs since bio is my strong suit.
  24. Actually I found it thanks! @angrenteria10
  25. Actually I found it! https://www.nursing.columbia.edu/about-us/events to those who needs to rsvp, it is on the top of the list
