Hello Everyone in PLU ELMSN program! I want to know if anyone knows the acceptance rate for this program. Also does everyone has a lot of patient contact hours? I am thinking about a career change and am currently in an unrelated field. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome thanks for the response! If not accepted, I was looking at 6 quarter ADN programs at a community college then work on RN-BSN while working as an ADN-RN. This path seemed attractive since it would cost much less and starts sooner than the following Autumn. This would be the alternative to waiting another year to be accepted to the program. Scenario: A) Not accepted for 2021/Accepted Autumn 2022 - Complete BSN by Autumn2023 B) Not accepted for 2021 ABSN/Accepted to 6-quarter ADN Winter 2021: Complete ADN Autumn 2022->Complete RN-BSN Autumn2023/Winter2024 Does this sound reasonable? Is this what people who have not been accepted are doing? (Moving for a 1-year program is not feasible at this time)

Hello Everyone, I am working full time in a non-related field and am interested in applying for the UW ABSN program. I have all the prerequisites except the 100 hours hands on experience. I am wondering if just volunteering for 100 hours is sufficient to being accepted into the program or if I should quit my job to work as a CNA. (I have volunteered on and off at hospitals in the past since I had intentions to apply to medical school, but this is more than 5 years ago). I realized I had to stick with my field of study to pay off my student loans first. My concern is that I quit my full time job to become a CNA, not get accepted into the program, and work as a CNA longer than expected and not be able to support myself financially (mortgage and family obligations). Does anyone know the acceptance rate for the program? I was not able to find this online. Thanks!
