I sent mine in this morning and haven't heard back either. I did read on the acceptance letter that once they collected all letters of intent they would be in touch through email.

I got into the middletown program! CONGRATS! Can't wait to start in the Fall!

I just got word that the letters are ready to go out and we will most likely be emailed in early May.

The letters go out by email so as soon as they send them out we should receive them.

This is what makes me irritated about the whole process the school didn't official close down until March 20. Last year the applicants received their letters on March 19. It really makes you wonder why it is taking them longer. I understand they have current nursing programs that they had to completely switch around because of the virus but the communication of what is going on and when to expect an answer to current applicants would be nice.

Thank you! I haven't heard anything except the update. It would be nice if they kept us updated on the progress. Hopefully next week we will get an answer.

I am legit checking my email every second to see if it has come yet. It's taken over my life ?. I highly doubt its going to be this week because the update says the end of April which leads me to believe it will most likely be next week if anything. Waiting for this letter and being on lock down because of this virus is causing some insanity on my end. Hope everyone is safe and well!

I don't know how much longer they could possibly push it out. I know if you get in to the program they require two orientation dates one in May and the other in early August. I'm hopefully for either this week or next! Fingers crossed.

Thats what I have heard as well for current students in the program. They are able to do some labs but it can't be over 10 people and they have to abide by the laws in effect. I just got an update this morning that the letters will hopefully be out by the end of April. So hopefully only a two week wait or less. The wait is excruciating.

@kj2455 I'm sorry to here about your trip being cancelled! I was so frustrated when I found out about the applications. I submitted mine on the first day it was available so having to wait another month is excruciating! All clinical for current nursing students have been cancelled and their classes have all been moved online as well.

I just wanted to give everyone an update. As of right now the nursing application decision letters may be delayed for 30 days due to covid-19. I just got word of this from school officials and it came directly from Nancy Groves.

It won't staff is still working and I was told yesterday it won't effect us receiving our letters! Now the question is when will they come? Hopefully next week!

@BKsCatch22 that is an amazing score. Even though the Fauquier campus is very competitive I think you are a shoe in! Congrats on the points!? Did you also apply to the middletown campus when submitting the application??

This is the only forum I have been able to find that is specifically for the Fall 2020 semester. I could be wrong, but someone said that the 15 points for service region were extra points and the total is actual out of 100. The 15 points was to help boost the scores of people who reside in the service region. Don't hold me on this though I would have to ask the nursing department to be sure. I am sitting at about 95 points right now.

That's what my friend told me too! They had the application submission before March 1st and found out on March 19th to be exact! Not to long now hopefully!

Hey there! I would say those scores are sufficient to get into the program. Those scores would award you 90 points even without being in the service region which is still great. It still will really depend on the applications and the amount of people that apply this admission cycle. Hopefully we will hear soon!

No problem! Below I included the class average (as of today) for everyone at LFCC who has taken the HESI thus far: Math - 83 Critical thinking - 856 A&P - 73 Reading comprehension - 83 The wait sucks but I have faith that you did just fine on your HESI!

So from what I have been told by previous people who have applied and were accepted into the Fall 2019 program is if you are in the high 80's you should be fine. The score that you received was confirmed by other students currently in the program to be a score that got them accepted into the program. I think you will be fine! Also just like Nursekitty said previously it really depends on the year as it continually becomes increasingly competitive. A lot of the information I am providing is from questions I directly asked to the nursing program staff or students who were admitted into the Fall 2019 semester. I found the class average tool on the evolve website to be useful as it gave an idea of where I specifically stood compared to others who took the test through LFCC they had a national average and a class average. I would focus on the class average and compare your results with that.

Oh okay. That would make sense! I know they can see both results but they do only consider the one that you submit with the application. The other test won't be a factor with the application. I just went in today to double check this information. Also this information is coming directly from the Middletown campus so I don't know if you might be at the Fauquier campus but it might be slightly different over there.

I have faith you did great! I wouldn't worry to much they do accept a huge class into the program! Hopefully in a months time we will know!

Who told you that you had to submit both results? I was told you only submit the one you want to be reviewed and that was from the nursing information session. The one that is submitted however must meet all bench Mark's and you can't combine the scores. I didn't submit both HESI results and submitted the one that I wanted to be considered. This information came directly from the nursing information session and from people who currently run the program. I did test twice. Good luck to you with getting in the program! I'm hopeful for all of us!

Hey there! I applied for the 2020 class as well. The wait is excruciating! What I have been told by people who previously got into the program was that if you are in the high 80's you should be good. Also the points matter and it depends on the percentage you received on each section on the HESI exam. If you're in the service region you get an extra 15 points which could be helpful. If your applying to the middletown campus they accept anywhere from 60-80 students. I hope this information was helpful! I was also told GPA is only used as a tie breaker. The HESI is a huge factor in the decision of acceptance. Did you take the HESI twice? I highly suggest to take it again before the window closes if not. I scored much higher the second time then the first. Good luck with your journey! Hopefully we both get in!

I will definitely have to go to an information session! I bet it was difficult but extremely rewarding. Hi! I'm a fall 2020 hopefully and was wondering what GPA and hesi score is good to have to get into the program? I have a 3.8 gpa and a 90% on my hesi. Is this good enough to get into the middletown program?
