Trump Admin Will Protect Health Workers Who Refuse Services On Religious Grounds
Wow! So much like!!!! If people want to harm themselves for their “god” that’s fine, but don’t refuse care of others. That’s unethical. Side note: I was discussing this with my dad (since daddy is apparently weird to some people here), and he had a patient who refused blood because she was a Jehovah’s Witness. But she was a poly substance abuser. I guess life saving blood is a sin, but gods totally down with channel surfing and smoking rocks.

I thought he had backed out! Good! Bloomberg for president! I don’t follow it that closely. I just know that we need to fix this mess that our country is in. Hopefully Trump will get removed from office. That will be a good start, if he wins the reelection we WILL be back in Nazi germany, with his hatred against minorities and women. And nope. I don’t watch TV. Never have actually. It rots your brain and is a waste of time. In my spare time I like to read. I like Naomi Klein, Howard Zinn, and Barbara Ehrenreich currently.

I think these weapons of war will be banned soon. Many of the states are currently taking hard stances against it. I applaud Bloomberg. He started fighting the obesity crisis by limiting soda sizes along with other measures, and now he’s devoting his own time and money to helping states in getting the weapons of war off of American streets. I really wish he would run for President.

We have these mass shootings and you think letting people buy any sort of weapon is a good idea? I’m actually on board with people buying like.. pistols and stuff. Only after a lengthy background check and vetting period. And it should be renewed like every year or two. And after lots of education. But no one needs a machinegun. That is absurd.

I’ve never heard of any of those authors. I’ll check them out on my study break today. Did someone just seriously say we should be able to own fully semiautomatic assault weapons, but IM the troll because I am looking to a solution to the massive homelessness and poverty? I know my ideas aren’t perfect but at least I’m thinking. Doing something is better than doing nothing. Can we please stop with the attacks, however? I’ll check those authors out, but calling me a Nazi is a little much. Frankly it’s childish.

Maybe we should have a system combining aspects of authoritarian and freedom. Like you should have the freedom to dress how you like and express yourself, but you really should help contribute to the greater good. Others are counting on you.

Aren’t libertarians like anarchists? I think authoritarian is the best system, because it makes sure everything is closely watched so it can be run efficiently.

We need a real life person to run things, yes.

Well when you weigh the cost and the benefit to society it seems pretty heavily leaning towards sterilization. How many unwanted births would it prevent? Maybe a few of the procedures would not be reversible, but in the grand scheme it would be worth it. Think about the flu vaccine. Some people are allergic, but when you compare the minor risks and inconvenience, with the benefit it also is a no brainer. We have to not be selfish and think what’s best for society as a whole.

People love to bash my ideas but I don’t see any other suggestions. Just a bunch of negative Nancies.

With an unsustainable healthcare system we will ALL be poor. Every single one of us. Except for maybe some rich republican politicians

Okay.. it was just an idea. The healthcare situation is anything but simple. We will all be in poverty down the road if we don’t find a solution.

I never said any of them are less than human. If they were less than human it wouldn’t bother me so much about how many children have no homes. I never said living paycheck to paycheck is a problem. I think there’s a big miscommunication. I want to HELP the homeless and drug addicted. Without having to worry about obtaining birth control, or unwanted children, they can get to a better situation. Maybe have the sterilization reversed if they are in a better situation in the future. I’m not even saying it should be mandatory. Maybe we could incentivize it, financially.

Do you have a better solution? Just because you disagree I’m a troll? It’s SOOO much more humane to have children in orphanages right? There are so many ad campaigns about spaying and neutering pets, because there are all of those poor animals without a home, and they’re suffering because of it. Can’t you draw a parallel to see a solution to homelessness and unwanted HUMAN children? It’s sad when we care more about fixing unwanted pet problems than unwanted human problems. It makes me want to cry.
