  1. Yay! Congratulations! Good luck to you with the program.
  2. It did say I had until Wednesday to let them know. Maybe they wait until then to notify the next person in case people change their mind. ??‍♀️ But don’t worry I won’t!
  3. ?????? I just sent the email denying it and she responded, so should be coming soon!
  4. Just got an email from Star that a spot opened up, I’m going to deny it, so congratulations @Jetta8!
  5. At Inver Hills, we’ll have our lectures are all online. They split us up into 2 sections (one morning one afternoon) for labs, then we’ll have to sign up for different time slots with no more then 12 people at each lab. For clinical I think we’ll still be split up in sections and go on different days, but they did say they are able to do clinical online if we need to, but are hopefully we’ll be able to get into a clinic setting.
  6. Thanks! I’ll let you know if I hear anything from Century!
  7. Still nothing. Inver Hills had their orientation and I’ve already ordered my scrubs for there, so if I do get accepted into Century, I’ll deny my spot. I was number 10 originally, but was number 4 a few weeks ago, so hopefully they gives some hope to whoever is behind me!
  8. Oh really? I’m trying to decide what would be better inver hills or century. If it’s going to be completely online, I already know some people who also got to inver hills and figured it would be nice to already know some people. Do you know what they’re going to do about lab and clinical?
  9. I was originally at 10, but am at 4 right now.
  10. Oh nice! You were 11 originally, right?
  11. Just got an email from Inver hills that I was accepted into their program! Still hoping I get into Century. Has anyone else heard back from them yet?
  12. I’m number 10 and still haven’t heard anything. My advisor told me to plan on starting the program in the fall though, so I’m hopeful!
  13. From century? I talked to my advisor today and he said he typically tells anyone number 1-10 to be prepared to start the program. But apparently, they are also preparing for online learning in the fall too, but need to make sure it meets accreditation, so it will actually count. It’s all such a mess, but thankfully they have all Summer to work it out.
  14. She said we’d be notified by email.
  15. She did say she was holding onto spot for some current students, in case they needed to repeat the semester. So I’m thinking we should start moving up on the list after this semester is over. Fingers crossed for all of us!
  16. Yup got it. Number 10. A little bummed, I thought I’d be further up. Oh well, here’s to more waiting.
  17. [email protected] I originally e-mailed Sherry about the waitlist numbers, but she cc’d Star and Star was the one who responded to me.
  18. Just got an email from Star saying we should have our numbers for the waitlist on Monday!
  19. Anyone know what they’re doing about clinical for current nursing students?
  20. Ya I’m not sure, I’ll let you know if I hear anything!
  21. I saw that. I’d think Star would have told me that when she e-mailed me, but said there hold up had to do with the appeals. It’s all such a mess and so stressful!
  22. I hope not, but I’m sure it is.
  23. Just got this from Inver hills. ? Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, we have modified how we are moving students off of the waitlist and onto the accepted list. The impacts of this global pandemic have impacted all aspects of our lives. However, our faculty and staff have worked diligently to continue to provide high quality nursing education to our students and I am impressed with the resilience of our student body as they continue to balance their responsibilities. We will not offer any seats to students on our waitlist until after the completion of the Spring 2020 Semester. This decision has been made to ensure that any of our current students who may need to repeat their Spring semester due to impacts of COVID-19 have the opportunity to do so in fall 2020. I will not be able to update you on your spot for Fall 2020 until Friday, May 15, 2020. I apologize for having to delay your potential acceptance into the program for another month. However, I want to ensure that we meet the needs of our current student and I am hopeful that when you join us, we will meet your educational needs as well.
  24. Same! Hopefully it doesn’t take too much longer.
  25. @Jetta8 just got this email from Star. “Unfortunately, there were a few students who sent their appeals to campus, and we are not on campus, so it took me some time to get everything where it needed to be, and I am still waiting to hear back on a few appeals. It should not be much longer, I apologize for the wait!” So more waiting. ?
