  1. Thanks, All :) Candwloc, I really liked the videos because they broke all of the basics & having to fill in he blanks as they were going along forced me to really concentrate on what they were saying. When I didn’t fully understand Something they said, I replayed the videos. After each section I would do the practice quizzes AND review questions. I did this every single day. The last 3 days I did nothing but the 4 nclex style exams (I think there are 6 if you purchase a more expensive version but mine only came with 4). I hated it at times but I kept reminding myself that this was going to be my last time going through this so I drank some coffee & sucked it up. Lol when I took the exam I did come across some questions that I remembered from Mark Klimek audios so I think the other reviews definitely helped. You can find his lectures on Spotify if you type in “Mark Klimek NCLEX audio“. He is basically summing up a lot of what Hurst goes over & helps out a lot with breaking the questions down. Keeping you from overthinking them. Hope that helps! ? Good luck!! You’ve got this!! ??
  2. Just wanted to share my experience with the PVT & Nclex. I used this forum for info multiple times so I wanted to share my own experience. Took my NCLEX three times in the last 4 months & finally passed on my third attempt! I ran out of time & STILL passed. First exam I got to 205 questions & Then ran out of time. I started crying about 45 mins before my time was up. I panicked & tried to rush through because I just knew I failed. I had about 50 SATA questions throughout. If I would have calmed down & kept my emotions under control, I probably would have passed my first time. Anyway, I studied UWorld questions only, That time. Probably 25/day for about 2 weeks then up to 50/day two weeks before my exam. Did the PVT & got the bad pop-up. Attempt two, I stuck with UWorld but ended up getting bored of the questions so I listened to mark Klimek on Spotify until test day. Did about the same amount of questions using UWorld but added mark. Didn’t get but 2 hours of sleep the night before my test because my anxiety was through the roof!! (Should have rescheduled my exam that day & not the fee) got 75 questions. All seemed pretty “easy” only like 5 SATA the entire exam. Did PVT & got the bad pop up. I was devastated!! I could barely focus from the lack of sleep & my anxiety took over!! Decided that that was it!! I was NOT going to let that exam take me down again. Went to the doctor & got control of my anxiety. Purchased the hurst review lectures & practice exams & got to work the very next day. That is literally the only thing I stuck with this time & everything started clicking when I was watching the videos & filling in the blanks in the book that they give you. Watching, writing, & reviewing after. Went in to take my exam expecting to take up all 6 hours & told myself not to freak out. I know what I know, no one can take that from me. I had almost back to back SATA off & on throughout. I definitely still cried about 5 hours in but I reminded myself to stay focused & not to freak out. I’m “still in the game” time ran out at 233 questions for me. I just knew I failed again. There was no way I passed when I ran out of time. They have to go off the last 60 at that point & Some of those questions were so hard. I left & couldn’t stop the tears from rolling. Waited about 20 mins & decided to just check the PVT just in case & OMG!!!! For once I got the good pop up!!! I couldn’t believe it! Got my email with my license number on it 24 hrs after the exam! Anyway, I know that was long but hoping it helps someone that is in a similar situation! I know that I was frantic every single time... scoping these forums looking for help from other people’s experiences. ?
