I've been getting consistent emails back from ------------------------ and ----------------------. If yall need their emails, shoot me a message.

That's the vibe I keep on getting every time I look into LIU at the moment. I've settled on just waiting to see if they offer a merit based scholarship + whatever financial aid they offer if it's comparable to just doing a semester in a public CUNY school to applying again to the major Public schools in the state. I do want an education, I don't necessarily want to take out a mortgage to finance it

I just got the acceptance email tonight. I'm trying to look up transfer evaluations, financial aid options and I really can't find a thing. I plan on attending the virtual sesion on the 17th see if that straightens out some of my questions.

I got an email back from --------------------- and she says "All decision letters should be out by close of business today." Take it as you will.

This might seem like a last-ditch effort for tonight, but has anyone received any sort of emails after 6:30 pm?

I honestly don't know. I emailed both ---------------- and --------------------- for clarification But at this point there's no one that's said that they've been explicitly rejected that's what worries me.

So I'm assuming if we did not get an email yet that it is essentially as good as a rejection letter. Well, that sucks hard for me, good luck you guys. Had my interview on Feb 12th

Been stressing since last Wednesday. Thankfully studying for Finals for my winter session has given me a welcome distraction from this ordeal ?

Apparently there were "thousands" I heard from another student that they received roughly 1200, with 120 interviews, and 60ish spots open.

As a male, I'm likely to shave my beard. Some people are telling me to wear a suit but I think that is overkill, I'm probably just going in chinos, button-down shirt, and v-neck sweater. In other words church clothes

You know what's funny, I just received an email from LIU asking if I was interested in applying for the spring semester for nursing rather than the fall semester, which I would rather do because I will be finishing up my prereqs at a CC come June. Kind of fishy to be honest.

Hey since you applied last year, Do you remember how did the scheduling go for in regards to the Interview process. Did they have a variety of days and times, or was it strictly during the week and in the day?

Tbh the appealing thing about the requirements for Stony Brook sort of put me at a weird position where alot of schools pre-recs don't line up neatly. I'm planning on applying to LIU but I am open ears to other programs with similar pre recs to Stony Brook
