Hi, Congratulations!! I just recently submitted my application for the Cincinnati campus ABSN Summer 2020 May cohort. I'm still waiting for admission's decision, hopefully I'll be admitted. I will be moving from California. In-terms of the program and working, I would say because it's a 16 month NURSING program, it'll be rigorous and will need all your attention/focus. It may be possible to work part-time but I wouldn't recommend it. In terms of financing your education, your admissions counselor should have discussed with you some options you can take. Fill out the FAFSA application to see if you qualify for a subsidize/unsubsidize loan. On-top of that you can also take out private loans (which I'm planning to do). My counselor told me I should be hearing back a decision from the admissions committee in 2 weeks, so I'll keep you in the loop if I'll be attending. If accepted, I will for sure go. ABSN isn't for everyone -- I've read a lot of folks from different schools that people drop because they end up failing courses. Honestly, just work hard and stay focused. What campus will you be attending?
