  1. Oh WOW!, do you think will affect our future semesters? Out study plan won’t be able to progress as it should, so what if they add those classes to other semesters?
  2. Haven’t seen heard anything yet! I’m thinking they will send out the info after the window to complete the background check/ fingerprints is closed.
  3. Hey guys, I heard back about the scholarship email. I was basically told that although I met all the criteria, I wasn’t as competitive as other applicants. So good luck to those that haven’t heard back yet!!
  4. I did.. says I was deemed ineligible but the reasons given did not make sense. Was about to email back to get clarification.
  5. Ahhh I haven’t done this yet... thank you!!
  6. Where do you see this?? I don't know what you are referring to... I'm hoping they send out an e-mail detailing more on this because I honestly don't even know where to start on that.
  7. Mine did. Don’t use the adobe reader feature guys ?. My mistake. Gonna have to redo mine later today when I get home. Guess scanning is the way to go??
  8. Awesome! Tried to join
  9. If you open the document in Acrobat Reader, you can add a signature either by actually drawing out your signature or by simply typing in your name and it will convert it into cursive so it looks like you wrote it. You can also paste a picture of your signature if you have a clip of it.
  10. I think everyone is LOL. I expedited my package for the background and fingerprints so I hope it works out.
  11. On this website you get a direct link. Plus here's all the other stuff to keep n mind we all have to complete before complete admission. https://nursing.ucf.edu/admissions/bachelors-degrees/accepted/campus-based-BSN/
  12. Just in case, I got my info from here https://nursing.ucf.edu/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/UG-InformationSession.pdf
  13. Out of curiosity, has anybody completed the required background check and fingerprints?? On the info slides online it says we’re supposed to have them done within a week of receiving conditional acceptance, which would be by next Friday. I RSVPd as soon as I got the invitation but all I got back was that I would receive an email within 2 weeks with more info on the MoA... I was planning on doing the background check tonight and would suggest everyone do it ASAP as well; wouldn’t want anybody to lose a Spot because of this.
  14. I don’t remember having to put in my UCF email but I think I’m in the facebook UCF community, just cause I put UCF as my college. I’m up for it! Seems like a good way to stay in touch with everybody and up to date with events and such.
  15. Accepted!! So happy right now! Good luck to those still waiting!
  16. I just checked mine and says “eligible” as well!! Thank goodness ?
  17. According to last year’s thread, we should see the change in our application status to “eligible“ before a decision is made. What I’m not sure of is when exactly that is because this time last year the status for students was already “eligible”. I’ve gone into my app everyday to check if my status has changed and still nothing. I got all my green checkmarks on January 10th if I’m not mistaken...
  18. Mine says the same thing, still under review and I got all my checkmarks around 20 days ago...
  19. Yeah like I said, that’s just what I could come up with cause I got confused first time I saw it ?. But since I got all my checkmarks on the actual app, I didn’t worry about it.
  20. When we graduate with our first degree it required 120 unduplicated credits. So I think in order to graduate for the second degree you need those credits plus the new ones you’ll take during the program. Im not sure if that’s what it means but it’s my best guess. That’s why it only shows we’ve only done part of it, since we need to take more courses in order to be able to get a second degree...
  21. Hey everyone! I applied on the 2nd and got all four green checkmarks a couple of nights ago, so y’all should be getting those pretty soon, if you’re still waiting on them. Now comes the worst of it: waiting!! Good luck to everyone that has already applied!!
  22. I’m not sure what forms you are referring to. On the info slides they have on their websites it shows the overall GPA can be found in your degree audit. If you didn’t attend UCF previously you should just get the GPA you Graduated with cause it should be the GPA of all the courses you’ve taken combined. I believe the science and non-science pre-req GPAs are considered on their own.
  23. Hey! I’m not sure about that. I suggest you contact them directly to see what would be best for your case.
  24. I haven’t tried accessing it myself but my friend who’s also applying trued multiple times during the day and still nothing. Not sure what’s the hold up but I’m sure it’ll open up soon
  25. You’re still within the ranges of the accepted applicants if last year so you never know!! Plus that experience could possibly give you a boost. And if you retake the TEAS and do better, that’ll also help! I have an overall GPA of 3.73, science pre-req GPA of 3.76 and a non-science pre-req GPA of 4.0. I got a 92.7 on the TEAS. I’m still anxious about getting accepted because last year’s thread on here showed similar stats to mine but not all of them got in. I guess we will never know until it happens...
