  1. Hi guys, I recently accepted a residency position at a hospital in DC. I am graduating from a program in Arizona and therefore need to become licensed in DC. The DC RN examination application is kind of confusing. My program does not give letters of completion, so my only option is to send my official transcripts with the application. Does anyone know of the exact steps I need to take, in order, of how to become licensed, and the time frame? I've called the DC BON twice, and no one has returned my phone calls. The residency starts February 17th, and they want us to have our NCLEX complete prior to starting, and my official transcripts wont be available till about late December when my degree is complete. Can I not do anything currently to move this application process along, am I suppose to just sit here until my transcripts post and then submit my application? Clearly I'm stressed over this time frame lol. Can anyone clarify or list the steps needed to complete this? Thank you!
