  1. I never write posts for ANYTHING, with that said I have gone through the most stressful two weeks I have had. I took my NCLEX on November 8th, thought I failed because honestly it's a blur and I thought it was difficult. My NCLEX shut off at 76 questions, so I had either failed miserably or done well. I went home and did the pearson vue trick 2 hours later, got the "good pop up". I did it again that evening and still got the "good pop up". The next morning I did it again (because I'm a super nervous person and get a lot of anxiety). I finally thought okay I think I passed, especially after reading through a bunch of forums online. Sunday morning, exactly 48 hours later I logged into pearson due and was able to pay for the quick results... PASS. I was so happy and I figured I would have my license posted by Monday or Tuesday as I had taken it on a Friday. All my peers had received theirs 48-72 hours later. Monday night came, nothing. Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday nothing and so on. I would check breeze like crazy and drive myself nuts. A week passed and I started second guessing whether I passes or not. I called the BRN and of course they were no help, she said California doesn't participate in quick results and keep checking. I kept hearing of people that had taken it after me and already had their license. I was very stressed because I already had job offers and they were just waiting for me to apply. 12 days later, I was so fed up and at this point didn't know if I had truly passed or not, I decided to call the BRN. This time they person that answered was super helpful. He asked me for all my info and asked when I had taken the exam. He put me on a brief hold and came back and said congratulations you passed! He said he doesn't know what happened but he would message the licensing person to get my license. I checked the breeze website about 15 minutes later and their it was finally my license!! I was officially a registered nurse. I wrote this because I was driving myself insane stressing over this. Pearson Vue trick WORKS!!!! California BRN is a mess and if you have a similar situation, call till you get someone that helps you. It's ridiculous all the unecessary stress I put myself through.
