  1. I have FIGS and they are great. They are light weight, breathable, and have a bit of a stretch lol
  2. I have only been a nurse for a week but I have never been judged while going through school. I honestly feel like I have a leg up being a male because, if you play your cards right, you can avoid all the drama and catyness (sp?). I think in 2019 there are more males than ever in the field. I work with a few males nurses in the ER and all are straight manly dudes. SO that being said, rock it bro and who gives a flying &)&(% if you're judged.
  3. I have been a nurse for a week with a beard of a few inches. I interviewed with it and started in the ER with a beard. There are other males on my floor whom have a beard. During orientation they tried to fit me for a mask and of course I was not able to be fitted. They sent an email to my manager and she approved that I not be fitted. I think it all depends on your hospital policy. I have had no problems. I just keep it trimmed on my cheeks and neck.
