LPC to NP

I'm applying to an MSN program at the same school where my BSN was completed. Need to have at least 3 academic reference letters. I'm wondering if they should be from the BSN program, or does it look better to have someone from outside the program as well (like from other programs I attended in the past)? I already have professional references lined up. Thanks!

I just bought the book from the University's bookstore, I didn't spend any time looking for deals and I wanted to make sure I got the right one. Have you received any clarification on how the class is going to work next week? I'm wondering if we will be doing live class sessions through a video platform during the regularly posted class time, or if it will be asynchronistic. I emailed the instructor but haven't heard back. I'm a little nervous about the lack of communication on what to expect for starting the program.

Yes, I would be interested. I think that would be a great way to stay in casual contact. Especially since we won't be meeting in person at first. I think there will be around 20-30 people in the cohort? But I don't know how many would be seeing messages on here.

Hello! I've been able to register and am getting tuition stuff figured out. Have we heard anything about orientation? I've emailed today to ask, so I'll post what kind of response I get. Excited to meet the cohort soon!

Hello! Did you get the email with the Student Health Requirements? That's all I've received so far. No information on an Orientation yet.

I have not heard anything yet. I just emailed one of the advisers today to ask about a timeline and orientation. I'll try to post here if I find anything out.

Has anyone else heard anything? I have not received an orientation "packet" or anything like that yet. They told me to be on the lookout for health-record related things early in the spring semester and then there will be an orientation sometime after that. Getting excited to start in May!

Well, not too early I guess, but before the deadline. It was sometime in Sept.

Oh my gosh! I just received an email with an admission decision and I was accepted! This is a nice Thanksgiving surprise since I thought we were going to have to wait until next week! Has anyone else heard anything? I wonder if they are sending the decisions individually instead of all at once. I applied early so maybe they sent mine earlier than others. Good luck!
