Work as MA, got RN license, are they legally suppose to pay me more?
Hello! (I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum, couldn't find one that match my situation) I work at a FQHC health center as MA3. I pass my boards, got my license and told them hoping they can promote me. It's 2 months now and nothing yet. We talked for two weeks and now I'm waiting for the COD as she wants to "discuss the actual job description further". My supervisors (who are RNs) has been treating me differently since and I've been given difficult situations and urgent cases. I have also been assigned to assist the clinic's two most difficult doctors (they are super awesome, just intimidating and their pt has more complications too). Is it legal for them to pay me as a MA but give me work that is out of MA scope of practice? I read somewhere that even though job title is x (MA, tech, CNA, LVN), I am still held responsible since I am a RN now. I don't know if I should call the boards and ask. I think it would be easier if I just find myself a RN job now. Side note: Does anyone know how official transcript work? Do I ask school to send them to me and then I send it to places that ask for it? Thank you for reading! ?

Need help with NCLEX application; 3rd party authorization missing
@b0ss I end up calling them and they told me to ignore it. Everything worked out fine and I passed the boards. Just make sure to call them and ask them specifically what they need so you can get your ATT!

@AquariusGirl34 California. I have called them before and waited almost 3 hours before someone answered. I think other state BONs are a lot quicker with application process and resolving issues; and lower fees!

Need help with NCLEX application; 3rd party authorization missing
Hello, I submitted my repeat/reapply examination for the NCLEX a couple days ago. Right after I submitted and check details of the status it says "Third Party Authorization is missing" in the deficiency section. Does anyone know what that means? and how to clear it? I sent an email to the rightful department but haven't heard back (2 days already). I truly would like to avoid calling them because it takes forever for them to pick up and they aren't nice and are quick to hang up too. I wish they were more responsive and clear about what they want. ?
