  1. Thanks. I thought maybe they forgot about me. Wasn't sure to email for clarification
  2. For those who got into Kingwood 2021. Did you get your schedule yet?
  3. Do you know how many they will accept for Kingwood
  4. So the nursing session mention 1400 applicants?
  5. I think you are safe. I don't how I got put on the alternative list with a 7.24. LOL. I still think they look at your overall transcript to see your potential to do well in nursing school or not. You can be the one keep repeating a class but you don't get a 2nd chance when you fell a class in nursing school
  6. Yes its a stressful and upsetting situation. We got more competition because of the fall application deadline. So this application period does make sense to get more applicants because of those who didn't get in in Fall
  7. I'm shock. I have spoke to someone but not director. She mention they look at other classes too for determination. Score out of 8 is of course number 1 in process and elimination. My critical thinking is not that high 810. I use the same HESI from last application. Didn't want to risk and get a lower score plus I was taking 2 classes and working 6 to 7 days a week.
  8. Like you mention before it is pretty quiet on the forum. I think the past forums for 2019 and 2020 have alot of people repeating classes OVER AND OVER again just to get in so there was so many participants. I think this time is less than last applications but still alot. I think it will be the same not more competitive. The competition group was those past years with alot of people applying again and retaking classes and HESI multiple times to get really high score
  9. Awesome. I took pharm and micro together. But couldn't do 3 classes like you. LOL.
  10. On this forum I don't think we are allow to mention any professor's name. But I took a teacher from Kingwood an online class. Really enjoy it. If you do the work it is an easy A.
  11. No I was put on alternative for last application of Spring of 2020. I just retook English to reapply again. I didn't know having an A in English matters if not I would have retaken it before applying. Didn't do my research. Plus I went ahead and taken micro, A &P 2, and pharm to knock them out.
  12. Thank you. Good luck to you too. Hopefully I will here from you again. I got my acceptance letter last year on August 23rd. So you guys should be hearing from them at the end of the month or 1st week of September. Fall semester was a delay because of covid but we shouldn't be that bad
  13. Yes. I think you will get accepted or even as one of the alternative on the list. I think you will get in. I got put on the alternative last year for Spring 2020 with a score of 7.24. I didn't take any of those classes yet but psychology from U of H. I had a B in English from U of H. I think they like my high school transcript plus impress with my HESI score. So you do get points for other factors too. My score was low and it was my first semester getting back into school just taking A&P 1 and still get accepted as an alternative
