Just got that email too. But I got a stethoscope a few weeks ago. I just figured we needed one because they are throwing us into clinicals and labs.

What books are we supposed to buy?

They def messed mine up. I got the total opposite schedule. All the clinicals I picked was all in B schedule and they have me A

They gave me the wrong schedule that I chose. Ugh. They gave me cohort A instead of B. I’m gonna email them to see if I can have my original choice. I thought it was just clinicals that you might not get your first choice?

When you register, there is no confirmation page or confirmation email that is sent to us that we have registered. I emailed the nursing dept too and they got back to me so I’m sure they will get back to you too

So I guess the general orientation is not mandatory right? Not gonna waste my money if I don’t have to Do it. the email about the nursing orientation did not say we had to pay for it

I don’t know where the 110$ is coming from. I paid the 100$ tuition deposit. Maybe someone just mistyped 110$ instead of 100$ for the tuition deposit. Not sure. But the email for orientation did not say anything about paying for orientation.

Is the 110$ for orientation different than the 100$ tuition deposit??

I never knew about the student portal until Someone told me about it that got accepted too. When you go to farmingdale website, click admissions on top and then click on accepted students on the left. Then you can click on student portal on that page. I don’t know if works for students that are brand new are current students also. But try it. Everything on the student portal is what came in the packet we got in the mail. So do we have to pay the 50$ for the online orientation if it doesn’t work??

you have to register for orientation in your student portal. you have to click into advisement and registration information and it gives you a link to register

Did u register for orientation?? you register for classes at orientation.

Hi guys, I also applied to the nursing transfer program at FSC. My stats: Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 Cumulative GPA: 3.9 TEAS test: 79.3 I have been really anxious the last few days about being accepted or not. I really just want to know the answer already. I cannot stop thinking about it. I am so worried that I will not get accepted and then having the disappointment of not getting in. Im so nervous. I hope we all get in!
