  1. They look at both cumulative & prereq GPA. I sadly can't retake the classes I received a C since it's considered passing.
  2. After high school, I enrolled at my local community college as undeclared. I didn't care for the courses I was taking resulting in 3 C's and 1 D. Now I've talked to my counselor about pursuing nursing. If I aced all my pre-reqs that would raise my GPA to a 3.3, at most. I live in southern california where a 3.7 is considered competitive. Most ADN programs require a minimum 3.0 GPA. I'm just worried that because I'll barely meet the requirements I won't be accepted into any nursing programs. If anyone has been in this position or want to advice other paths, I would really appreciate any feedback!
