I'm currently in an ADN program and have just completed my 4th clinical rotation. I regret not getting CNA training or experience before setting foot into the RN program. I am so clueless in clinical and feel so dumb all the time. I have no previous healthcare experience so everything I do is new. I try not to be so hard on myself but compared to my peers that had prior CNA or even healthcare experience, I feel so useless. That being said, you dont have to become a CNA before nursing school, but it really gives you a leg up. The CNA experienced students already know most of basic nursing, so they can focus on new stuff, where as students with no prior knowledge, are learning everything at once. It's rough, but I have heard that it evens out quickly, so I'm hoping that's true!

They said they dont have an ETA of when itll be back up. Just call the health sciences division at delta and tell them your situation. I'm sure theyll understand.

I just talked to Sunshine and she said she is working on the info packets right now and they should be sent out in a couple hours.
