Yes, so unfortunately your high school prerequisites will be considered as either an A or B, not an A-, A, A+. So yes, your course that you received a 96% in, UFV will consider as an A not an A+ in your application. i was accepted in to the January 2020 Intake. i applied with: A - English 12 A - chemistry 11 A - Pre calc 11 A- - BIO 111 (Instead of grade 12 bio)

I spoke with a UFV advisor about the grading system used and they told me this: your high school grades that are used for your Prerequisites on your application are used with the high school grading scale. ex: 84% = B 95% = A if you are using a UFV course grade in your application. So you took BIO 111 and received a higher grade than in biology 12, then they would use the UFV grading scale. ex: 84% = A- 95% = A+ It depends on what you used for your pre requisite for your application. If you used a high school course (ex pre calc 11 83%) UFV would consider it a B. If you used a UFV course (ex BIO 111 84%) UFV would consider it an A-. Four A+‘s give you 16/16. this is how my grades were interpreted for my application.
