    Good morning! Currently, I am in the last few weeks of my BSN program, due to graduate in December. I have a couple offers for jobs: PICU, a 2 year Surgical cohort, and an OR at a Trauma-I facility. I already know that I would like to go back to school for my BSN to DNP. Preferably, I would like to be a Surgical DNP with a specialty in Trauma. With that being said, which is preferable for this goal? Medsurg, ICU, or OR experience? If I went OR, I'd like to get the RNFA in preparation to be competitive with the DNP program (in addition to being strong in hands on surgical skills). But, if these programs/NPs/etc. would prefer otherwise, I would like to know before accepting a position. I will get the formal offers this weekend, so I would appreciate advice on all aspects of the matter before I seriously consider any specific position. Have a blessed day!
