Where has everyone purchased their books from? Trying to shop online and find the best deal have seen some on amazon and eBay but wondering if anyone has found a good deal on a site that has the package of 3 books, the ebook, and MyLabNursing?

Hey!! Just I posted right before they updated it and now I am in! I called and asked and they said that they just now moved the list but hadn’t called everyone yet I guess they move the list and call people right away after they update it! I just had been checking it religiously. Also she said that the 4 people who got calls today may not be able to register for a couple days as they are updating their profiles on web advisor so that may be why it is taking so long for spots to fill up on there. I wish I would have asked about if there really are 96 spots but it says 100 on web advisor so I wonder how many there actually are! I would call the nursing secretary she was very nice and helpful!

Hello! Has anyone contacted the admissions office about the alternate list recently? I’m wondering if I should call and ask if there has been any progress on it because I am close to the next to get accepted. I have seen on web advisor that only 86 people have signed up for class. I know previous years have had around 90 students accepted but thought the class of Spring 2020 had accepted 96. I think that is what was said at the math session, does anyone else know if that is true?? Thank you!

Just checked blackboard and the alternate list moved yesterday it’s now at #13! Really worried because I am close to that number and wondering if many more people will drop. I’m planning on attending the math review session December 3rd, are any other alternates planning to attend as well?

Oh that would make sense! I'm not sure if alternates have to do the drug test by November 7th, I just know she said they were due the 7th (wasn't specific if it was just accepted or both). I went ahead and did mine today to be safe, I know at orientation she just said they needed to be ordered on Castle Branch by the 7th. I would E-mail Ms. Smith just to ask if you want to wait to take it! They may want everyones in at the same time.

So there probably are about 40 alternates! I'm thinking there are only 110 on black board because that's the amount that showed up to orientation. So that leaves 20 people who didn't show up from the alternates list & accepted list. Hopefully they will update the blackboard alternate next in line announcement soon!

Does anyone know how many alternates there are? I know in previous years there have been 40 but on our gateway there are only 110 students on the roster, leaving 20 spots for alternates instead of 40. Thanks!

Thank you so much for all the information!! It means a lot! I have been very worried about being an alternate and we don't have orientation until next Thursday but hopefully I will be high up on the list! Thank you again!
