  1. Desperately need your advice. I submitted by application to SLMC-GC last July17, they still haven't contacted me and it's been over a month! Do you think I have a chance? Thanks in advance.
  2. 2K sounds right... i myself have been busy last month trying to sign up to this program, the price ranges from i'd say 1200 to 3k+, depending on the hospital, some offer it as a package, meaning iv training plus some kind of bedside training, others offer just the 3-day training plus another fee on top of that (sometimes P500) for completing your cases... most tertiary hospitals won't even entertain job applications from newly grad nurses without iv certification...
  3. sure, i got an 85.0% rating in the june2007 boards
  4. Try calling the Phil Natl Red Cross at 920-3672 (this number is for their QC branch, im sure they can give you the number of another branch if QC is not convenient for you). I plan to train for the BLS in their Pasig chapter, I think they're doing 2 batches this January, but im sure there'll be more in the coming months. Good luck! :prdnrs:
  5. Hi coffeeaddict78! I'm just curious, if you weren't able to get certificate from PRC, then how were you able to confirm that you were in the top 20? im only asking because i suspect im in the top 20 too, and when i asked them if they have a certificate for me, one of the clerks said that only the top10 are given certificates... i was hoping to give it to my parents as a gift....:icon_hug:
