Good morning y’all! Will anyone be kind enough to tell me what room the fit test and cpr is supposed to be/take place. I can’t find my paperwork anywhere! I know I can call Mrs. B, but I was hoping someone could tell me in case she didn’t answer or wasn’t there. Thank you.

Well that’s what I was thinking too, but don’t want to get yelled at if I don’t. Oh well, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow. Nope, no lab manual.

Does anyone here have their fit test and CPR tomorrow?? Are we supposed to wear uniform??

Does anyone know if we’ll have to report to school on the other days? My class is T/R, but does that mean I’ll also have to be there M/W? I remember her mentioning something about having to go to lab for practice or something like that, but I wasn’t sure if it applied to the normal semester. I have to make time for all the lab/vaccine requirements, so I’m hoping we don’t with the exception of cpr/fit test.

@ Seu_ema: thanks girl for the offer on the pdfs. They were so cheap that I just bought them. I haven’t received my uniform. I emailed them and was told they’d be shipping mine out the week of Jan 6! So I have no idea when I’ll be getting it. I’m assuming we’ll be able to buy the lab book at skl? They have to offer the books they’re requiring us to use. I was trying to check the online book store to see the price but I couldn’t get through.

Why? Did someone ask the teachers if we can use the older version?

Hi y’all! Happy New Years. I’m looking forward to mingling w y’all. I haven’t ordered anything and I still haven’t received anything. By reading the posts, it looks like y’all have figured it out that our books are ebooks. I wasn’t aware either. Doesn’t anyone want to send me their pdf copy of the books and I’ll pay for half of whatever you paid?? For those who haven’t purchased, does anyone want to buy one and send it to me and I’ll buy another and send it to you?? If so, let me know. I’m not sure how much the books are going for, but maybe we can all help ea other out that way, lol.

What about the fit test and cpr?? Uniform as well? I’m assuming that we don’t?

Has everyone attending ECC received their uniform?? I still haven’t and they are closed today and tomorrow.

Oh, idk if that price was for the winter session. I’m confused abt that part. I’ll prob email the teacher.

We were told ebooks will be around $1500-$2000.

Haha, y’all made me look to see if it said anything about books. I was told by director we’d be using e-books, so now idk. So I haven’t read what it says and just posted lt. i’m assuming it will be the same for both classes??

@ Chanster: Nope. Isn’t that great? @ ccca and sue_ema: I haven’t done anything! I haven’t been in town ? My understanding is that we will get all that sent soon. I just recieved my syllabus for one of the classes, so I’m assuming we’ll start getting all those codes soon.

You have to go to one of their orientation sessions and then go to the application session (two separate ones on different days). Once you fill out paperwork on the application session and turn it in, it will probably take another two to three months for them to review it. If you meet qualifications and your good to go, they’ll send you the letter for the TEAS. They told us that if we already took the TEAS, to email it to them and then email them letting them know that you did so. I did all of that and apparently they didn’t even look at it or who knows what. I went to the orientation on 9/24 and to the application workshop on 9/26 and barely got the letter yesterday. Since I have to respond confirming for the TEAS, I’ll let them know in that email that I already sent my TEAS. We shall see. But so far that’s how the process with them has been.

Well lets hope they will still send out emails. You still have a chance until you get the denial. I actually got a letter from LATTC. They scheduled me for the TEAS on Jan 8th. Apparently they don’t check their emails nor the emails from TEAS. Doesn’t matter at this point as long as I’m put on the waitlist. Make sure y’all apply there too.

@Sue_emaDamn, $162. What did it include? Did u ask the lady if Torrance was still using them? Torrance isn’t switching companies, right? I’m going to try today. CozyCub, did u try on the uniforms at school? They ran big. I’m glad I went to go try them on. Did u get logo on it? That’s good that u can return it. I was under the understanding that we couldn’t because of the logo. Does anyone know if they are local? Like maybe go to them instead of waiting. I’m going to check status if mine. I won’t be here from 18-5, so I’m worried about it sitting out ? Any of those waiting on Compton hear anything yet?

Good morning! Well my understanding was that we needed to wait for codes for both. I tried getting nurse pack but it wouldn’t let me log in. I haven’t done any of the requirements because we can’t start until the 15th, but plan on starting next week sometime. Sue_ema, how did u order nurse pack?

Today is the due date for acceptance/denial of those who got in, so I would wait. I think the deadline was 4pm, so if anything, they’ll probably start sending out more tomorrow and on?

The director said we have to wait for an email with the correct password. So she said to not do anything with it for now.
