Got an email that I’ve been accepted!!. Would love to communicate with people who also got accepted! ? Mine did not have a name either… that was my initial thought too!. Did you call to confirm??. I emailed them back accepting my offer with my full name and see what they say?

Nope! Still waiting!. I tried to ask the alternate # I am at, and all they said was that they will contact if space becomes available when people decline their spot by May 4th deadline which is today. Worried that they said they will contact us before May 6th if spot becomes available and that’s soon

This is my 3rd time lmaoooooo. I think I am officially done with this school. I moved on to the second round the 1st time, but not the 2nd and 3rd app period. Starting to think this school isn’t for me

Just received mine too LOL. At this point, it was expected but they did such a HORRIBLE way at sending out rejections emails this app period. Though it’s understandable as they got more than 1000 applicants this year, it was still poorly of LBCC not to only send them about a month late, but also so abruptly.

No problem!. No, this is my first time at this school. I was alternate for LACC last app period, but did not get in :(. Hoping this is a life changing decision for me! ? . I wonder how many alternates they elect and what are the chances of officially getting in?

For those who are alternates, I emailed asking about the # I am at, and they said that they will send out an emails for available spots once accepted students decline their spots by the May 4th deadline. hope to get in!!

Anyone here who got accepted declining their spot?. I assume that because this is sorta the first school to offer admission, people usually will accept in case ?. All the other LA surrounding schools won’t get back ti us until mid May I suppose Are you an alternate or got officially accepted?

I might just email back? although they said not to, I have no idea otherwise?? however, if I am reading this right... they'll contact us on May 6th if we got officially accepted!

I received an alternative email! this is my second time applying, so I am manifesting someone drops their acceptance!. Are any other alternatives here too? I want to ask what # I am but it says in the email not to email until after may 16th ?

I haven't gotten an email either.. the last application period I remember that students who did not receive a first-round email, meant they moved on to the second round but don't know if they changed it this time around?? did anyone receive an email stating they were moved to the second round?

Have not received anything?! Where are you getting the emails?. Around what time last night did they send them. Now I’m worried :/

Currently waiting too… this is my last program that I have left after getting denied by 7 schools!! 5 of which were lottery, and 2 of which were point based ?. This is also my second attempt applying… so I hope I hear some good news as it is 50/50 here with lottery and points

I’m an alternative too! #26 on the list and I am taking it as Another rejection letter. Why would this school get our hopes up like that?

Straight from their website: After the random selection process is done, the LAVC Nursing Department will notify the top 50 students that made random selection with a due date to send their TEAS Test Results. If the TEAS Test results are not sent by the due date given by the LAVC Nursing Department, students will be automatically disqualified and will have to apply to the LAVC Nursing Department for the following application season in April 2021for the Fall 2021 semester. Please note LAVC nursing program admits 40 students in Spring and Fall.

Wait they are calling now? Wth that’s so odd. I was reading through their website and it said they will contact only 50 people they randomly picked to send their TEAS and they will I guess throw only the 50 people into a lottery for the final seats
