Thanks for your responses. I really appreciate the advice as family wasn’t much help. Thanks again! Probably won’t do it, the old job isn’t worth killing myself over. ?

I recently turned in my resignation to the hospital I work for. I worked med/surg days, but my husband is going to school at night for respiratory therapy so my child is left unattended a few hours in the evening before I get home. I was able to find a Monday thru Friday 8-5 job which will work out better for us. My DON just found out about my resignation and asked if I would be interested in PRN on weekends. I have thought about it, but the schedules are 6 weeks and I would be required to work a total of 5 shifts so for 5 weeks I would have only 1 day off. I know I could do consecutive weeks without a day off, but I would rather not do that. Part of me wants to do it and part of me doesn't. Also, with my new position I may at times have to work 4 hours on either Sat or Sun. This should be an easy decision, but I'm making it hard on myself (typical for me).
