  1. starting at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital next month-- any insider info?

    I'm very excited that I just accepted my first nursing position at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital! I'm moving from out of the area so unfortunately, I've never actually visited myself. Are there any previous or current employees there that can speak to the culture there? Like, were the seasoned nurses excited to teach the new ones? Is it okay to have visible tattoos/piercings etc? Even littler stuff: is the cafeteria decent (& does it have night shift hours?)? Do employees have free parking? Are there hospital issued uniforms? I'm sure I'll figure it all out by orientation but I'm just excited and looking for info! ? Thanks yall!
