I got into Abilene too! I don’t think there’s any sort of group yet since so far only three of us on here have responded saying they got in. Excited to meet y’all though!

I felt super confident going in! And I feel like I was super prepared for questions they didn’t ask so that’s a fun feeling haha...definitely not my best interview I’ve ever done. Thank you! Ahh such few spots for so many people who applied!

Does anyone know how many they plan on accepting/a breakdown by site? I asked at the end of my interview and they said that they weren’t exactly sure what the breakdown was but to ask (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I was thinking about emailing her, but also know she is so beyond busy right now. Figured I’d try here first!

I haven’t gotten an email but I do have a space on my portal for an essay submission!!

From looking at past forums I don’t think they let you know if you don’t receive an invite! That could change this year of course so who knows. No one really knows when we should expect to hear from them at this point!

I know as of like 10 days ago they were still planning on holding interviews the last week of August and the first week of September! I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s changed though 2020 has been wild!

I think they only send it if you’re missing a pre req!

Are people’s Bachelors and med term tabs checked off? I know they’ll reach out if they need something so I guess I’m just curious haha

I’ve looked at the past forums and I think they typically send out invites on Fridays so I’m cautiously optimistic that Friday we will hear something!

I don’t have my bachelors or medical terminology checked off yet and they are both on the same transcript that was received and evaluated so I’m not sure what their process is for going through things.

I just talked with one of the site coordinators for Abilene and she said they are planning on having interviews the last week of August and the first week of September! So hopefully we hear about signups soon!

Sorry just now responding but I honestly didn’t know! I just got an email saying they don’t have me down as having credit for History 2 so I either have to upload proof of enrollment or prove I took the class. So I guess if they have an issue with your transcript eval they’ll reach out and give you the opportunity to correct it.

It’s not just the GPA. They also let you know which classes you’ve completed and which if any you still have to take. For people with out of state courses they just make sure you’re core complete and everything.

Have any of y’all gotten your transcript evaluation back? And if so how long after they marked your transcripts as received did it take? Sorry I’m so nervous since most of my course work is out of state and I check my portal multiple times a day!

I have a 3.8 for science classes but only a 3.2 overall so I’m nervous that my overall won’t be good enough! I also had to retake one of the sciences

Has anyone submitted yet?? It’s going to be hard to wait until August to hear about interviews!

I think they also lowered the minimum GPAs too. Didn’t they both used to be 3.0? Now the website says 2.5 minimum

Have y’all already taken the TEAS? I’m getting nervous since they are canceling them!
