Congratulations! Did you get accepted in the Transition program or ADN program? From what I've seen so far, no one from transition program yet but not sure.

I was accepted into the transition to nursing program evening placement. I am curious how many others are going in evenings.

I don't know if I'm gonna do that-I might but Rhyleigh your address is a couple of blocks from where I work-what a small world!

I had the lowest GPA (2.55). I was category 3 so I am surprised.

I had my boyfriend open my mail-I couldn't wait. I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!!!

I live in Christmas and work in Titusville so I hope when I get home my letter will be in the mailbox also. I am anxious to hear from others also.

Thank you Casssidy23 for calling. Now my anxiety is higher than ever-haha! I live in Christmas (west of Titusville) so I probably won't get a letter until the 29th or 30th. I can hardly wait! Hang in there everyone!

I'm here with you (TheNatural Nurse). I turned in my packet the first day at the Edgewater campus. She did tell me that if I get a rejection letter we are put on waiting list in case others don't take their seat so please answer the phone because they will call you if they have open slots. I am category 3 also (2.55) but you never know. I just keep waiting.

I believe they base your category by your GPA and completed pre-reqs. I think I am in Category 3 because of my GPA. I believe on the Daytona State website for the nursing program it mentions the categories. Good luck to everyone.

I applied last year and didn't get accepted. My GPA is low-2.55. I meet all of the other requirements. I applied on September 6th at the Edgewater campus for Spring (again). The letter I received last year said cut off GPA was 2.79. They are more lenient for classes starting in the spring but not sure if I will make it or not. I was told to keep trying. I've taken everything I can possibly take to raise my GPA. Good luck to everyone! If I don't get in this year, I will transfer to Valencia College and try there. I believe they have a waiting list. I was trying to avoid traffic and tolls but I want to move on in my nursing career.
