  1. I work on a busy acute floor for almost a year. I have a team member who at one moment treats me like I'm her best friend, and the next like I'm a piece of crap. Like we're in highschool. But if I'm not nice to her, she'll make my work life a living disaster. I'm so sick of this. Sometimes I just wanna wave my white flag and give up. The crap I get from nurses.
  2. I'm a RN and work at a long term care. I usually don't provide bedside care. Today however, we were short so I decided to help the PSWs. One resident asked to go to the bathroom. I agreed, and planned to transfer her on the commode. According to physio she is 2 person transfer. But most staff tranfer her with one person assist. The point is, I transferred her on my own, and she fell between the wheelchair and commode. She didn't get hurt, and she is stable. I feel like an idiot. I should not have followed what everyone was doing, and asked someone to help me. Please tell me I'm not the only one out there who made such a stupid mistake?!
