Does anyone know when parkland opens their nurse residency applications? I'm in DFW if that info is necessary.

I just applied to BSW today. Super late.... Does anyone know when Parkland opens up for Early 2025? Or did I already miss that application?

I'm guessing by leather, it means like water resistant type material, right? And do you mean the white jacket or the black jacket? Are we not allowed to wear sweaters at clinicals at all? Even with a monogram? I guess we get all these answers during orientation. I just wanna be prepared as possible.

Are we allowed to swap clinical sites if both students agree? Also, any recommendations as to what we need for uniforms? Are white shoes mandatory? I know we have to order atleast one set from that website, but is there anything else we should know?

So if I'm reading this correctly, the program is only 2 days a week(Tues/Wed) plus any random clinical days? Assuming you've taken all of the support classes....? Also, what is PNC and HCC?

I had 36 points, with a 92.8 on the HESI.

I was accepted to El Centro campus.

I got mine at 7pm yesterday. In the email it says there will be a second one shortly. Has anyone received that yet?

CONGRATS to everyone accepted so far, and GOOD LUCK to those still waiting. I was accepted to El Centro, and my last name starts with A. Maybe they are doing EC first? Maybe alphabetical order? Plus, this is a day early, so we will see more results tomorrow! ?

When I went to turn mine in on January 14th, I asked a lady in the office and she said last year's flu shot shouldnt be approved. So, if the flu shot was approved , you probably submitted it last year or you started your Castlebranch thing before this application cycle. But it specifically states that it has to be a shot from after September or something like that. I am not compliant but the lady said that was fine. Fingers crossed that was true! If someone else hears some other info, let us know! This forum has been so helpful for me. Thank you to all of yall for the questions and answers!!!! ?
