  1. I just got accepted but I’m really interested in the adn program. Don’t know if I should turn it down and I really don’t know how the transition program works
  2. How long does it take for the official transcript to do list to check off...I sent mine 2 days ago electronically
  3. My friend got accepted for spring 2020 and he was soo worried about the same thing. He didn’t have any trouble
  4. If you are taking it for the first time under uthsc code, elsevier will determine what version you’ll take. In most cases version 1
  5. I’m in Houston, can I get your used hesi book? Did you repeat any classes to get a 4.0?
  6. I can’t believe I missed the applicant meeting for Alvin’s Lvn program ?. Who else applied?
  7. How did you ask if you don’t mind sharing.
  8. I didn’t get in I was really hoping to get in
  9. Hi, did u get into Alvin? I just applied for spring 2020
  10. I hope it’s the same this year
  11. Tough is an understatement, we are still in October!!!!. I hope we hear something before 27th of November tho
  12. Wow congrats. You have really good grades and you did them at Alvin too?...you’re definitely getting in.
  13. My vocabulary section i had 76??‍♀️, my reading is 84 and yeah I might just do the HESI again since they pick the highest from here and there
  14. I was the one wearing a white top and a red scarf, don’t know if you remember. I have a c in psyc and B in English and my HESI is 87.6 so yeah I’m up against a lot of great scores...I’m optimistic tho
  15. Did u wear a black top?....yeah I’ll be bsn core complete by the end of the year and I don’t want to sit around doing nothing so I’ll apply for the LVN program come October and I love the idea of taking bsn courses too at Sam Houston university, seems rigorous but doable.
  16. I was there also..tried to look for you but I couldn’t place your face lol, I like the school also but I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I pray I get In
  17. You guys are the real mvp ??????...you both have kids and you’re more motivated than I am, I literally have no excuse to complain about how tired I am, I can only imagine how’s it like juggling kids and nursing school and those long hours drive. I baby sat my aunties son for a day and I also had homework due the same day. I almost went crazy, I’m pretty sure I swore never to have kids that day lol
  18. Wow, Thanks for the info...I wish I found this thread early enough, I’ll see if I can get the titer done tomorrow. you drove 1hr 20 mins everyday for school?...you are a champ!
  19. No I didn’t try having the titers done I just started the hep b series even though I’ve taken one dose back in 2015...is it too late to get a titers done now? hopefully I get to see you at the session, I live in Houston about 50 mins from my house but I’m willing to drive if I get accepted because nursing schools in Texas is becoming sooo competitive, different school different requirements. Texas woman was the initial plan but I heard the teas is soo difficult
  20. I applied also and I’m going for the information session on the 10th. My HESI reading- 84 vocabulary- 76 A&P- 100% math - 86% grammar - 92% i had psychology - C A&P 1$11 - A english - B I'm worried I won’t get in because I just took the first dose of the hep B and the second dose is October 1st which is after the application deadline and they said we have to have atleast the first two dose before the application deadline. I called and they said I should ask during the information session.
