  2. I have had about 12 people in my group. I never have heard anyone say that. Actually usually people with only alcohol as DOC have never had a hair test. There would be no reason to check for past use, when you wouldn't be in hprp if you didn't have past use proven. If you are positive for anything ever, the punishment is off work and extension to your contract. There wouldn't be any reason to do a hair test first day because they can't extend you for past drug use. However, if you deny deny deny any and all substances and they do not believe you. Then I could see doing a hair test. If *** shows , then you would get increased testing, expensive. what is the real concern? I will answer you best I can. Spit it out.
  3. Testing frequency will depend on if you are currently working or not. Less testing if not working. Otherwise, if working, expect peth monthly, hair in 90 days and urines 1 to 2 x week. And recovery trek is new for us way more ***ing expensive. In 4 years I have estimated I have spent well over $25,000 in tests alone.
  4. So it depends on the panel. Initially the hair test is a 5 panel and they usually do not do it until you are in 90 days. They can't penalize you for anything you did prior to the first day in the program. The lovely 13 hair panel does have etg I believe. Hope that helps!
  5. Is it CRL? Option 1 is Thc/opioids/amphetamin/bentos/oxy I believe. CRL option 5 is a whole blood peth test.
  6. That's not true.. LOL. Option 5 blood test is only a peth test. It looks back up to 4 weeks.
  7. Yes! If is not on your record the board should not see it. Do not tell anyone at work or managers obviously. I know people that only got contacted from board when they renewed license and they run the background check at that time.
  8. Self report is a loose term because you can wait, but will probably get contacted by them regardless. I am so sorry, it is quite the experience. I can answer any questions you have from my 3 years in hprp nightmare.
  9. They won’t give you a peth first off because you just signed your contract. They usually start the peth draws once you start working. They will test you for everything, not just your past drug choice. If not working, expect a test every 2 weeks or so. If you are working it will be peth/hair/urine 2 x a week for the first 6 months to start. Welcome to micromanaging of your life!
  10. Hprp here. Testing does not decrease in the 3 years. Blood monthly for peth. Hair every 90 days and urine 1 to 2 x week. Runs $500 a month plus your group and individual therapy is another $300 month.
  11. I just went thru this process. I did get a lawyer for my own sanity. I am in HPRP, so my case is different. But it goes like this... you have 30 days to respond to the complaint, then you have months of waiting for a compliance meeting with Attorney General. Due to covid, mine was a four way call with myself, my lawyer, AG and a disciplinary BON member. Then 3 weeks later, got a term of agreement. $500 fine. On probation for one year, and my boss must fill out a report quarterly for that year. I will be in HPRP longer than that year, so not much different than what I am already doing. Hope that helps!
  12. As long as you can renew your license with BON... I don’t think HPRP can have any affect?! Keep up the fight!
  13. I am sorry to say... HPRP does not get better... I have been in a year. Today they told me I am lucky to get a 6 month extension because my car broke down at work and I missed my test... the place I go closes at 5:30 due to covid... I had a receipt that my car was towed and tested negative the next morning.... you think they give a ***... nope. 6 months! Oh I can appeal it but what’s the point... they want their money and they will make damned sure they get it. Karma is my only hope for these ***.
