  1. My husband is military so we move constantly. We have moved 4 times in the last two years and we are currently overseas. I was about to start the nursing program the first time we moved and then I have not been anywhere long enough to finish school. We will be heading to San Diego next year and we will be stationed there for two years. I don't feel this will give me enough time to complete an ADN, so I am looking towards doing an LVN program. All of my prereqs have been met, and I am a certified medical assistant. I have heard that LVN and LPN are the same jobs with different titles, only being called an LVN in California and Texas. My questions is, with all the moving around, if I get my LVN in California, and then we get stationed in another state that hires LPNs, will my LVN license still count? TIA.
