  1. Update: so I called yesterday and HR said they never heard from the person that interviewed me. Bummer fast forward to this morning, I got the job offer! I’m so excited ? thank you everyone for your replies!
  2. All these amazing comments definitely has given me hope! thank you so much. I ended up calling HR to see if they even have my application and they didnt. They said that the person that interviewed me has been in meetings and interviews all week and that they'll let her know that I called. So in the meantime, I'm just going to apply to other positions while I wait and let what's meant to be, will be.
  3. Thanks so much for replying to my post! You know, In all my anxiety and angst, I didn't consider what the hiring manager must be going through. Thank you for the insight! Honestly, I felt good about the interview and I'm glad you thought so also. It definitely put my mind at ease knowing I didn't read the energy of my interview wrong. I did end up calling HR and they said they would get in contact with my hiring manager since she has been in meetings and interviewing all week. I will wait patient now to see how it all turns out ?
  4. So I just graduated with my ADN in nursing and have been applying to countless hospitals. I got a call to interview for a hospital close to my house on Aug 1. I scheduled it and interviewed Aug 16. Met with the CEO and she saw my resume and thought I had alot of ER experience because I precepted in the ER and work in Urgent Care. She had me interview with the DON for an ER RN position at the facility who gave me a mini tour of the facility and the unit, talked about how I should take some E.R. classes that would help me be a better ER nurse. She printed out some flyers for places that I could go and take the classes that were basically free for employees. She did mention other candidates but she said that I was the only one that spoke another language which was a huge plus and she was interested in how I would interact with the other new hires because we all came from different experiences. She told me how much I would make and ask if I didn't get the position would I be okay working med/surg and I said "yes, of course." Since the ER position wasn't the originally position I applied for, the DON told me to go online and apply to the position. She gave me her business card with her number/email. I don't remember if she said that "HR would contact you" or "if you were hired, HR will contact you". That afternoon, I applied to the ER position online and sent a thank you letter letting her know that I applied and was super excited about the opportunity. I even sent an email to the CEO to thank her for taking her time to meet with me. It's been 6 days, no replies and no calls from either HR or the person that interviewed me. I know my anxiety usually gets the best of me when waiting for stuff like this but does it seem like they were gonna hire me? Should I call to inquire about the application process? I don't want to seem aggressive and annoying but I'm dying for answers!
