  1. I personally wouldn’t recommend this school, I feel like there are better programs out there. First off you have two semesters of prerequisite classes then the third semester is where nursing core classes start. You’re only allowed to fail I believe either one or two classes if you fail more than that you are kicked out of the program. At first I thought this wasn’t a big deal because it’s nursing school it’s not easy but the professors play a huge part in your learning process and let’s just say they were not the best. You have a different class everyday, so each class only meets once a week therefor lectures are crammed in 3 hours (usually 3or more chapters) of class followed by an exam the next time you meet (which is the following week). You’d have to reread the book and teach yourself which was tough because there was always homework due for the other classes on top of quizzes and exams every week. They take in about 40 or so students in the beginning but after the second semester they can only take in 30 students and it’s all based on your GPA, if you don’t make it you’re put on a waitlist and are pushed back 3 months. Not trying to talk bad about the school I’m just giving you my honest opinion and experience, I read a lot of reviews discouraging this school and I wish I had listened and saved my money. I honestly feel like this school sets you up for failure and only care about your money. For one of my classes the class average for exams was NEVER higher than 56% so that should say something about the professor(s). Read more reviews on this school, I wish I did. Good luck!
  2. Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew what the actual acceptance rate was at Glendale career college? When I googled it, it said GCC is open enrollment which meant everyone (with a hs diploma) is accepted. Is this accurate? I’m waiting to hear back from the school, I just had my interview last week. How long does it usually take for them to get back to you? What’s the process? Any additional information will be appreciated.
