  1. Found out I got accepted! Could someone PM me the link to the FB group page please? I did get mine about an hour ago. So rest assured they should have your application. Hopefully you get a response today! ??
  2. Hey! So I hope you got a reply. They said they emailed me yesterday at 5:45. No clue why I didn’t get it, but they responded. Check your email if you haven’t already! Good luck!
  3. Counselor said he imagines it’ll probably take them more than a day or so to get notices out and that there shouldn’t be a concern of the application being misplaced/lost.
  4. Me too. I called the counseling office for any help. I’m waiting for a callback. I’ll definitely update you if I get any sort of helpful answer.
  5. Did you get a receipt when you turned in your application?
  6. Are you still waiting? This is getting very concerning. I emailed them yesterday, no response yet. Just called and left a voicemail too.
  7. Still nothing for me. I checked my spam/junk mail, Saddleback email directly... the email I put on my application also matches what's on MySite. I typed out my entire application so I know nothing was misspelled or illegible. Anyone else on the same boat?
  8. Ugh I still haven’t gotten any email ? Is anyone else here still waiting?
  9. Ugh I’m still waiting, nothing for me yet
  10. I’m checking my email constantly haha I want to know already!
  11. Website is updated!! We’ll be notified tomorrow!
  12. I'm applying to Saddleback College's ADN program that starts this fall 2020. If I get into this program (tuition free), I would be commuting about one hour each way for clinicals (I currently live in San Diego and will be moving to Perris). So, I work in San Diego, but think that doing clinicals and working in San Diego (16-24 hours per week) would be very taxing and I would get burned out quickly. I've done the whole full-time work and full-time course load for years. My mental health is a priority and I want to do well in these courses, aiming for straight As as I intend to obtain more advanced degrees. What are your thoughts? I would budget for rent (250/month), car payment with insurance (400/month), food and no other bills, though am not forgetting about books and other fees for the nursing program (which would be about $2,500 per year). I do also gig work like UberEats, Postmates, and Amazon, and the money can be pretty lucrative (though it won't be as busy as where I'm moving to this Summer). Would like any and all input. Thank you all!!
  13. More of a personal question. Are you working as well? If I get into this program, I would be commuting about one hour each way for clinicals. Lectures being online does definitely help. 14. Thank you for posting! How was it transitioning from the classroom to online? Are the class meetings weekly and live on set days/times, or are they at your own pace?
  15. Thanks for the update!
  16. I was thinking the same. There’s a lot of programs on hold or being pushed back. Spring might be the earliest we can go anyways I’ve decided to go the ADN route at a community college. I’m still waiting to hear from Saddleback, but that’s where I’d like to go. Given how much money I’ll personally save doing an ADN program then RN-BSN, and that it hasn’t been pushed back (at least not yet), for my situation withdrawing my application at CSUSM was the best decision.
  17. I have 37 points, but withdrew my application yesterday. The commute to San Marcos will be too much and I don't want to delay my start date for nursing school another semester.
  18. Does anybody know how the admissions committee takes repeated pre-nursing science courses into account? My first attempt at micro was at UCSD in 2013 (lab in 2014), but I retook that at a community college last semester and got an “A”. I couldn’t find info on whether they would average the two grades or take the highest.
  19. Best of luck to you! And to everyone else! I'm so eager to get a notification already... the wait is making me so anxious!!
  20. I haven’t received anything personally. I joined the RN info session via Zoom just because of the opportunity. They did say the cutoff points for this Fall 2020 was 76-77, but no other info pertaining to the incoming cohort. Also, they said the PPT from the meeting will be posted on their website!
  21. I decided to give up my spot. I officially sent my notice this afternoon. Hope one of you on the waitlist get an offer soon and can commit! Congratulations to all of you who were accepted and those of you on the waitlist - best of luck to you all!
  22. I haven't gotten any notices. Does someone mind copy/pasting what notice they received this morning? Thank you!
  23. The packet and they have stated it... must be complete by May 8th.
