  1. I checked on the status for the background check via the HireRight website. Did you wear scrubs to your physical since they're taking badge pictures? Or are we supposed to wear professional attire?
  2. Down to connect w everyone too! How’s everyone progressing with their paperwork? My background check finally cleared and I’m just waiting for my employment physical now.
  3. I got my call earlier and they offered me hematology position, nights as well! Super excited to start haha I’m curious how the didactic portion is going to work with our 3 shifts a week
  4. Congrats on getting the job! Wow you must’ve really stood out to them if they contacted you a day early haha. I spoke to another hematology nurse the other day and it seems like they’re short staffed there. It’s weird, they had an intermediate care unit listed on the application portal but I think it was a mistake because they don’t have an IMCU at the Duarte location. Fingers crossed on getting a call today ??
  5. Did they discuss the salary over the phone and did you try to negotiate? Also, what floor did you list as your first choice? I told them hematology, day shift and I’m starting to regret it because I’m sure it’s in high demand.
  6. According to the info session, we should start hearing back tomorrow - Friday.
  7. I was so nervous that I actually shrink my teams program into the corner of my screen so I couldn't really see who was asking a question. It worked out because if I maximized the team program, it would have looked like I was looking off screen and not at the camera haha. I think I only stuttered on one of the clinical scenario questions haha
  8. Oh geez, I'm pretty new to microsoft teams... after your comment I just realized that there may have been more people on the call than I thought! I assumed everyone who was on video was in the call but there may have been more who just weren't on screen. Re: ohgeewhat Per the info session, we should find out between 8/24-8/26. They actually contacted me for my 2nd interview pretty soon after my 1st interview so I'm hoping it will be sooner. Have you guys applied to any other programs/jobs? I've only applied to this program so I'm really hoping to find out before other programs close their application periods.
  9. I think I did decently well on the interview. I was not expecting so many hiring managers and program leads to be in the call. It went from 2-3 people in a call to over 10 at one point. It was a bit jarring having people jump in and out, asking different questions. How did you do on yours? I can't seem to figure out how many concurrent interviews they must be having to fill 36 spots in 4 interview days?
  10. I wonder how many actual applicants they had? It took some digging to find the link to apply and even then, the application window was so short. Just received an email to set up a second interview! So nervous haha
  11. Had my interview and you were right, they asked a lot of typical questions. She seemed really busy, so it sounds like they had a lot of applicants. I wonder how many applications they take for each cohort?
  12. How was the interview? From the information session, it seems like its just a screening interview to discuss the applicants resume
  13. I received the same email! I haven't gotten a response back yet to confirm the interview. Did you receive a confirmation? And it's 100% a phone interview, not zoom?
  14. Are you awaiting an interview invite?
