@Clayton McManis They planned to start the DNP program in January but were missing some requirements so it is pending. Therefore, I believe they are trying again to get it approved and if not, they will start the program in January as planned but still as the MSN program (the deadline for all programs to be DNP is January 2022). You can just google University of Phoenix and look up their graduate individual courses. It’s called Math 540 but I don’t have the direct link. If I can remember right it was like $1,600-1,800 (expensive but it was my only option at the time) and you don’t have to buy a book or anything. It is all online with various start dates. And I ended up with an A so it wasn’t too hard. So it was worth paying for to me.

It doesn’t matter if you took undergrad stats or not. They still want a grad level stats class. A lot of us took it through UOP or through ASU. I took it through UOP. It was all online and only 6 weeks if I can remember right (Math 540). I honestly didn’t do well on the GRE (made a 281) but I still got in. And I know several other people who didn’t get above a 290 or 300 like most schools require and still got into their school but I wouldn’t recommend not giving effort. Just submit what you have and see is what I’m saying because you never know. Some are more lenient about it and some schools you have to meet their minimum requirement. I bought a prep GRE book (the official guide to GRE general test by ETS off amazon for $25) and glanced at it a few days before I took the test. I didn’t put much effort into but if you give yourself a good 2 weeks to study you can do better than I did. I was just in a time crunch and wanted to have all my stuff turned in on time. That book is pretty much identical to how the test will be. And I didn’t realize until after I took the test that a lot of their commonly asked essay questions can be found online as well. @PNW_RN Yes it’s a Masters and it’s only 28 months. If anything you can always go back and get your doctorate if you want to and decide on a masters program to get it done faster. I personally didn’t care if it was masters or doctorate. I just wanted to get in somewhere haha.

@cambridge17 @Baruss20 We have to submit our holding fee by October 31st so if there are extra spots left after that I know they will reach out to people who haven’t heard anything by then or who are on the waiting list (so you should hear something back around the 1st or 2nd week of November). So far there are 25 people in our class (at least those who have Facebook and have joined the group) and I heard the classes before us had about 30-32 people but they can accept up to 40. @roakman good to know! Did your friend say anything about the difficulty of it or what the course work is like?

Unfortunately I don’t think my statistics course is considered “graduate level” so I need to have it done before January. Anyone know if this is possible? I want to take it through ASU. Is it offered to take before January?

Yeah they told me they would give acceptance/denials next week or the week after it. So we should hear something back by September 20th.
